That demon goat is quite terrifying.

If you`re seriously feeling injured, don`t force it.

Otherwise nope we`re not talking you out of this. Go for it Robin!

Ha ha. XD

Yeah, my wrist/arm is a bit swollen from from drawing (started doing that last fall) so I'm taking a break for today and possibly tomorrow and then I'll get back to work. ^^

Yikes. Do you happen to have Japanese mangaka ancestry?

Karoshi. Google it.

Basically that troupe where mangakas work themselves to skeletons for their craft. I actually admire that drive and wish I had it haha.

I see. XD Truth be told, I just don't have much else to do in my life right now so I'm trying to entertain myself and improve at the same time.

Ended up doing a quick 10-15 minute sketch. Going to use this to try finding a painting style that doesn't kill my hand yet still looks good... hopefully.

Re: Robin's Sketchbook - Bust Commissions $2.50 Each
« Reply #396 on: July 10, 2017, 11:34:01 PM »

If anyone is wondering where I've disappeared to I'm at my parents house looking after one of my cats whose ear has swollen up from an infection. We don't have the money to take her to the vet and my mom says she read that them draining the ear is usually fatal anyways. I'm staying with her to make sure she's getting enough to drink and such through the day. I'm still going to be here for a while for various reasons so I'll grab my computer the next time I head to feed the fish at my apartment.

Until then I have some paper and my pencil and a desire to practice drawing expressions. Human characters too, but you must have an image I can reference.

For $2.50 through Paypal (or 250 DA points) I'll draw a bust that is finished like the dragon in the upper left of the image above. I have 10 slots open.

I'm afraid I don't use PayPal or DA, but I sincerely wish you good luck on gathering commissions. Also, poor kitty! I hope that things turn out better for her than the worst.

Thank you guys for the comments and concern. She is doing better now and the swelling has gone down a good bit. She refuses to let me sleep since she wants so much attention now. XD

Here's a sketchdump for one of my comics. Dug this stuff out of my WIP folder and worked on one a bit. Feel free to redline some stuff if you wish, I'm not used to odd poses and foreshortening at all yet. (And I do know the one drawing is smooshed. I drew it on a scrap piece of paper I had at the time.)

It's just rough sketch but the atmosphere that you gave out is perfect enough

there nothing to complain about it really...if anything i would like to see finish picture with lineart, shadow and everything.

Thanks. I'm still working on the design of Jasper's outfit so I'm not ready to ink quite yet, but I'm hoping to. (And I keep drawing Thomas in his wolf form because his outfit is even more of a work in progress...)

I'm working on storyboards again and redoing the ones I had started on last year.

I feel bad that I can't see much of the storyboard and am more focused on how well-kept your thumbnail is.

I can't read the last part. The anatomy of the girls looks good.

I remember your story about the Damphir. Is that the same story?
