Do most of the Scott Pilgrim cast count? I know it wasn't exactly a manga but the story took place in Toronto, Ontario and I'm pretty sure they were all Canadian.

Canada from.hetalia ...but why candian? unless a series revolves around different natiobs, canada is like any other place. its like wanting a character specifically for a nation that has no distinguishing features in an anime that always uses race for distinguishing from the others.

Well besides me being Canadian, it's a little nice fan service. ^^

A lot of foreign anime characters are most likely to be American or European. So, it's nice to hear a character that originated from your country.  ;D

Why not Canadian...As Vio says, there's more of America or Europe in anime. Canada still is another country.
Also makes you wonder why they made the character Canadian in the first place.
No one is perfect . . . that's why there's erasers and extra paper.

i never see much of puerto rican characters. or hindu cast. canada is a country, not a race and not dominating the world with culture. dont see many canadian characters? its for a reason. its not about why not, its about what led you choose a speecific nationality that doesnt really stand out.
