First steps on full original art
« on: April 02, 2014, 05:57:42 PM »
Hi guys! Previously I posted ("My try to draw Lum") one of my draws in the other ''Manga Art'' section. However, that draw was done based on a pre-existing image. So... I decided to improve my own original art, to traing the skills to put on the paper whatever is on my mind. There you go then:

Yeah, pretty lame compared to the other one. Please! criticise, point problems, advice me
(and yes, the hands are HORRIBLE!!!)

Indeed the hand is much too small. I think this pose is popular in many anime though, so you can easily find a reference on how to fix that up. If you have a mirror try posing yourself and seeing how your hand looks like that. The hair looks fairly well done, and I think her body should be just a bit wider, though i'm not too sure.

Keep drawing

Well, here comes one more, this time I used something like a ''photo'' to help me drawing the body. Check it out!
