Develop Your Story / Last Song
« on: January 22, 2015, 10:34:31 PM »

The story is called Last Song, it takes place in 2018, in a small Japanese town called Haruka which is near a big city called Shikou City. Satsuya Airyuka is the main protagonist: an eighteen year old teenage boy and a orphan who is attending the local town's school and living in it's dorm called Satorikuen High School which he is starting his last school year as a third year student. He is a person who most people sees him as a popular boy due to his good looks and being mature than most boys but tends to skip classes despite being in school all the time. Inside however, Satsuya believes in nothing but himself as he just want to go through life and be done with it at the end as he sees life being simply meaningless and just a journey to his own grave after making a opinion about mankind unable to change from their mistakes in the past, stemming from himself having suffered too much in the past involving love being the worse feeling he had in his opinion which even years of counseling has no effect on him but he has a kind heart that he is willing to help anyone in need and do what is right for him, even if it is life-risking, being his sole motivation for living.

However, his view on life and love has changed after meeting a young twenty one year-old American woman from abroad named Lena Loveark who is a journalist working to learn about various teenagers' life in Japan and is temporary living at the school's dorm, she is an outgoing, carefree, mentally teenage-like and life-loving woman despite being an adult legally under Japanese law. After developing a strange feeling about Satsuya since their meeting, Lena desired to know him more, using her position as a journalist to visit his school often and learn about his every-day life.

Develop Your Story / The Key to My Future
« on: January 03, 2015, 03:02:52 AM »
I decided to write a story mostly new. I have thought about the themes of trust and betrayal that will be in this story. This time I'll work my hardest on it and will accept any criticism you guys said so I can improve further.

Prolouge

"What is the meaning of life? There are many if not endless self-made answers by people who went through different experiences in life with the true answer remains unknown."

"I been inspired to live a peaceful quiet life ever since a girl on the Internet which unlike the other girls in this modern age, explained about the lifestyle in a town she lived in and is happy with the free life she has in her hometown which compared to me, I feel trapped by the chains of society which the people there indirectly expected me to be like them. My former home was within a big city in my home country, Japan, which, despite the fun I had over the years there, became dull to me as I grew, that's when I realize I am chained to society until now."

"With the encouragement and strong financial support from my dear parents who given me time and a choice of 'yes or no', I chose to transfer from the bustling city to a faraway, humble town for my first year in high school there so that I can experience a new lifestyle to settle in and hopefully... see that girl there if given the chance."

"My name is Kukyona Saku, a fifteen year old boy. Now I am in a train, heading to the quiet town called Shintaku."

The Key to My Future

Summary: This story will be in a small town, Saku will learn about the freedom he'll have as the town doesn't require him to be traditional unlike other parts of Japan. He'll learn about developing trust between his new friends and him helping them out along with way during his stay as he seeks excitement and friendship. But much to his surprise (and regrets not reading the guide), all of his classmates and dormmates are American girls!

Prologue

"That's the last of them, whew..."

A blonde girl with glasses, holding her smartphone, deleting all of her contacts.

The girl sitting between a woman and a little girl, her mother and little sister, both sleeping while sitting, they are riding a train in the night.

The teenage girl looking at the scenary from inside. "A new life in Japan, I wonder how my life will end up... So much pain I been through in America for all these years, Joshua... Why do you have to go away... I needed you... Don't worry though, I'll move on and won't let anything to bring me down to hate life again."

Chapter 1: Empty Song

At a high school within a rural town.

In the hallways, a black-haired boy with fair skin with his hands in his pants pockets, his ears with seperate clip-on headphones connected to a small portable music player hanging on a neck strap, a bag with a strap hanging on his left shoulder, he is walking on the wooded floor, passing by many students.

"Oi! Sakuri-san!" A girl with green hair ran to the boy in front of him.

"Hm? What is it, Hatsui-san?" The boy named Sakuri asked, his eyes straight to the girl named Hatsui.

"Someone from America is going to be a transfer student here! We're finally going to have someone here who is from another country!" Hatsui said with excitement.

"Oh, that is surprising." Sakuri looked at her with curiosity.

"You want to meet her?" Hatsui teased.

"Uh... Not really, I'm not the person who likes to meet new people." Sakuri sighed.

"Ahaha! Of course you are, that's what I like about you." Hatsui holds his arm.

"Hey, people are watching." Sakuri blushed.

"Not until we are in class." Hatsui still holding his arm as they walked together, many students, of course, watching from the sides.

"We have a new student transferring here, I like to welcome her to you all." The female teacher of the class said to the students, standing by her is the American girl.

"Um, konnichiwa" The girl bowed, speaking the native language

"My name is Lena Erica, I moved here with my mom and sister from America, I am pleased to be here." The girl named Lena with a straight face. "I hope I can enjoy my time here in Haruka."

The class warmly welcomed her.

"Wow! She is cool!" Hatsui said.

"What you think of her?" She turns to see Sakuri who is sitting next to her by the window.

"She looks... normal." Sakuri looking at Lena.

Lena answering questions from her classmates, she sees Sakuri staring at her, her eyes focused on him, seeing his eyes showing emptiness to her as she walks to her seat which is in front of him.

Lunchtime.

"Going to hang out with the others, I'll see you in a bit." Sakuri said as he took out a baseball glove from his bag on his desk.

"Later~" Hatsui waved to him.

Sakuri, passing by Lena who is sitting in her desk, he looked at her for a second before heading out from the room.

"Hello!" Hatsui greet Lena, standing next to her.

"Oh, hello there." Lena looked at her.

"My name is Midori Hatsui, it's nice to have you here."

"Thanks, I'm kinda nervous being here though, it's hard for me to be the only foreign student here." Lena crossed her legs.

"Don't be, you have me as your new friend." Hatsui holds her hand with her own two hands.

"Oh, I made a new friend already, I didn't expect it." Lena said. "Why are you so friendly to me though?"

"I just feel like it, I want you to have friends, life's not enjoyable without them, that's what I believe." Hatsui said.

"Thanks, I appreciate it." Lena gives her a handshake.

"It's nice to have someone from a different country to be living here, I'll show you around if you want." Hatsui offered.

Sakuri, outside with the warm air being comfortable, with a baseball glove in his left hand, throwing a baseball with two other male students with another one sitting on a ledge, playing a portable game system.

"So you two have heard about the new student?" The game-playing boy said.

"Yeah, Hikaru, it's strange to have a foreigner in our school, at least her being here makes things interesting." The other boy with big muscles said, throws the ball at the boy with a kanji tattoo meaning: "Fired Up", on his bare right arm.

"Heh heh, you sound like a perv, Iwata." The boy said, throwing the ball at him.

"Shut it, Yakuha!" Iwata yelled at him as he caught it, throws back at him hard.

"Owowowow..." Yakuha feeling his hand hurt as he manage to catch it. "Yo, Saku, what you think of that Yankee?" Yakuha teased him as he throw the ball to him.

"She's normal I guess." Sakuri shrugged, catching it.

"Normal? That's your feeling about her? You really got bad tastes in girls." Yakuha looked annoyed.

"Tch, I don't know her that much, that's my opinion of her for now." Sakuri stared at him, holding the ball with his bare hand.

"You want to get closer to her, eh?" Yakuha smiled pervertedly.

"Nope." Sakuri throws the ball hard at Yakuha below him, striking in the crotch.

"Agh! Damnit! My groin!" Yakuha falls down, grabbing his crotch in pain.

"That's what you get for being a perv... sheesh." A female voice is heard.

"Hey, Yukino-senpai." Sakuri said, turning to see a blue-haired girl with long pig-tails wearing a baseball cap in addition to her female school uniform holding a baseball bat on her right shoulder.

"Nice throw, Sakuri-kun, with that kind of speed, we can make it to the playoffs, glad to have you as a first year here." Yukiko pats his back.

"The Hell? I almost died, you know!" Yakuha yelled, still on the ground in pain.

"Don't ever say disgusting things when I'm around." Yukino pointed at him with her bat. "Deal with it."

"Waaaa!" A boy is heard yelling along with noises.

"Umiyo... Geez, again?" Yukino turns around.

Sakuri walked past by Yukino.

"S-sorry, I tripped." A boy named Umiyo on the ground alone many water bottles.

Sakuri grabbed his hand, gets him up.

"Thanks, I could never be as cool as you, Sakuri-san." Umiyo looks down.

"No big deal, you'll change over time." Sakuri said, he then checked his cell phone, flip it open, closes it.

"I have to go back home." He sighed.

"Already?" Yukino said.

"My mom needs me, don't worry, I'll be back for practice." He walked into the school.

"Man, he has lot of things to do, felt bad for the pal." Hikaru looks down.

"He didn't even want to share his phone number with us." Iwata said.

The others looked at him gloomingly as he back inside the school.

Inside.

"So, you know you way around?" Hatsui said to Lena, finishing walking around the school, heading back to class.

"I guess so..." Lena said nervously. "Thanks for showing me around."

"No worries, there are lot of fun being here, clubs, teams, activities, all sort of things you can socialize with others, your choice." Hatsui encouraged her.

Near their classroom.

The door slid open, Sakuri appeared.

"Sakuri-kun?" Hatsui asked him.

"Oh hey, just getting my bag here, thanks for watching over it."

He takes it from his desk.

"Leaving school early again?" Hatsui asked.

"Yeah, my mom is sick still, need to take care of her, sorry." Sakuri sighed.

"It's tough being a normal kid since your dad passed away, I wish I could do something to help you." Hatsui with a sad face.

"It's alright, I'm used to it." Sakuri said calmingly.

"If you say so, oh, would you like to talk to Lena-chan?" Hatsui turns to see her.

"Oh... Hello." Lena greeting Sakuri. "My name is Lena Erica, I just moved her with my mom and little sister, I hope we'll be friends."

Sakuri looked at her blue eyes, Lena blushed in response.

"Nice to meet you, I hope you have a good time in Haruka." He said, smiling as he closed his eyes.

Sakuri heads out from class.

"He sound nice." Lena looks down slightly, her heart beats.

"Haha, have you ever talk to boys?" Hatsui teased her.

"I do... (Joshua...)" Lena said then in her thoughts.

Some students came to the classroom.

"Class is starting soon." Hatsui said.

As class resumes, Lena thinks more about the boy named Joshua, feeling her heart deep as she thought about him.

"He was unlike any other boy, there won't be anyone else who is like him..." Lena's thoughts.

Her head on her desk, she noticed a little note sticking out of her backpack, she took it out and read it, her eyes widen.

After class.

Lena bidding Hatsui bye for today, she heads out from the room, she went upstairs two floors.

Reaching to the roof, she opens the door.

Outside, she sees Sakuri standing in front of the fence, the setting sun shines a orange tone everywhere.

"What do you want to tell me about." Lena call out to him.

Sakuri turns to her, his face emotionless but with a smile.

"It's nice to have a foreigner like you here." He said.  "I wanted to fix the mistakes I made as a kid."

"What do you mean?" Lena said.

"I let someone from America who was close to me... die..." He looked at the sky.

End of Chapter.

Develop Your Story / Second Reality
« on: August 29, 2014, 08:53:21 AM »
Prologue

"Reality can be harsh depends on the lives people have, how we came to be in the first place, and why there are those who wanted to die? That is the question of my father who used to suffer of the harsh reality that isn't fair to him. Myself also wondered, but I stay away from reality by being another world which defy the laws of reality, a world free from the laws of society, made by us humans, a world that I can enjoy being in and feel more alive than in the real world."

Chapter 1: Dream World

"Yaaaaa!"

A teenage boy with a green katana-shaped energy saber yelled.

Slashing across a stomach of a monster ogre five times bigger than him with a giant axe within a dark room made of stone, green blood gushes from the wound, the ogre falls down, and then explodes into red fragments, disappearing eventually.

A screen appears in front of the boy.

"Yeah! Kurimu Get Level baby!" He cheered, raised his fist high.

His clothing consists of a crimson and black coat, black jumpsuit beneath, crimson and white boots and dark blue gloves. He has flowing long black hair with bangs, his eyes sky-blue.

He brushed his forehead with his right arm; 'turns off' his sword with his left hand, the blade disappeared and puts the hilt inside the scabbard behind his back.

"Whew, it wasn't that tough, I'm gonna keep going ahead." He heads to the closed door but stopped when a screen appeared in front of him, he inspects it.

"Oh come on! Time's up already? Damn it, Kimiko." He sound disappointed, he holds his hand forward with fingers spread, a screen with his avatar name, Kurimu, he clicked 'Settings', then clicked 'Log Out'.

He flashed bright, he disappeared.

Eyes open, seeing a brown haired girl in a school uniform in front.

"What the heck, Kimiko? Good thing you message me just after I beat the Raging Green Cyclops, he's worth lot of EXP!" A boy said, removing a head gear covering his head and eyes, revealing he has blond hair and red eyes.

"Computer time's over, Shina-kun~." The girl, Himiko, teased him with a smile. "You know bringing your UCon-Gear in school for 'entertainment' purposes is strictly forbidden."

"Don't call me that!" He blushed. "And I don't gave a *censored* what the school says, what you want?"

"I ask you if we could eat lunch together, don't be mean to your 'Guardian Angel' you know," She stick her tongue at her.

"*sighs* You’re lucky you're my friend who is the popular kind here at school." Shina makes a tired face.

"Let's head to the roof." Kimiko pointed her finger up.

Lunch time.

"Lot of competition going on, I better grind to get ready for PvP battles." He said, looking at his cell phone screen. "I want to go back there already!"

His school uniform consist of a blue and black unbuttoned jacket, untucked white shirt beneath with a blue tie in front, black jeans with a belt on and black and white shoes.

"Don't get so worked up about some game, we have class in fifteen minutes, education is important you know, Shina-kun." Kimiko said who sits by him while eating boiled eggs with chopsticks.

Her uniform of the female students are almost the same as the male's version, with the red skirt and the girls' shoes being the only differences.

"Whatever, my parents are happy even without me with an education, I have better things to do." He grabs a piece of Kimiko's eggs from her bento with chopsticks, ate it, he then gulp down a can of caffeine, and crushes the can. "Ahhhh..."

"I haven't decided on my future yet." Kimiko said while looking up in the blue sky.

"Tch, in this dumb reality? I rather spend my days in Second Reality, real fun there, no probs to worry what-so-evs." He drank another can of caffeine.

"Ha-ha, you can be so lonely-ish, how can you survive school without your pretty popular friend?" She winked at him.

"Eh... You got a point..." Shina sighed. "Hated being pushed around because of my blond hair, why the hell those douche bags pick on me for that?"

"Why? *sighs* It's obvious they hate foreigners from the Land of the Free." Kimiko sounding disappointed. "I hate to see that kind of bullying in this school, that's how we became friends in our first year here."

"Well, I was born here, anyways, thanks for saving me from being pulverized by those losers yesterday, I wouldn't have move for a week." Shina sighed.

"Don't need to thank me, we're friends, right?" She smiled at him.

"Y-yeah..." Shina looks down. "What if... You can't find a guy your type?"

"Hm, I'll just stay single, easier that way, don't you think?" Kimiko wondered,

"Yeah..." He looked away.

The two continued to talk until the bell rings.

After school.

At the school's entrance.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Shina-kun, be safe out there, ok?" Kimiko, with a pink backpack, said, patting his shoulder

"Yeah, see you tomorrow." Shina, with a school bag around his body, looked at her as she went off. "Finally, school's over, time to go home." He walked to the train station.

The train came; he went inside, the train heading to his hometown which is far away from the city where the school is.

While riding on the train among other people, students and adults, a TV is showing an urgent news report installed on top of the door.

"Another similar incident involving a female student who was half Japanese and half British in Kuzohara High School in Akihabara which she was tragically killed yesterday by unknown means, the local police said this is the fiftieth mysterious death reported since the beginning of Spring that involved mixed and non-Japanese citizens in Japan who are found and pronounced dead but no signs of wounds or organ failures and urge those who are mixed and not from Japan to be wary when they're outside, the police also say they'll cover more grounds to find whoever is responsible for these horrible murders, more coming up this afternoon..."

After watching the news, many onboard talked about the mysterious murders while Shina looked down.

"Tch, I hope it's not me next..."

Arrived at his destination, Shina ran to get to his house.

Passing by people on the sidewalk, waving to those he knows.

At home.

A  Japanese-styled house like most of the other houses in the neighborhood.

Shina took off his shoes.

"Hello?" Shina called out.

No one answered.

"Good, parents aren’t back yet, time to play." He ran upstairs.

In Shina's room.

He drop his bag, unzips it, pulling out his UCon-Gear. He installed the plug of the gear into his wide and flat screen computer's USB port, he puts it on his head, lays down on his bed.

The gear's LED light flashed green and make a 'bing' sound, signifying it is ready for the user to play the game.

"Second Reality, Kurimu!" Shina said a second his consciousness is transferred into the game world, Second Reality.

This story has one of the main characters who share the same feelings as I do, I am telling my feelings through the character so you can understand me better but he will have his own unique personality.

"There is nothing sadder than a person who you loved and cherished, many may be forever sadden by deaths of loved ones but in my opinion we should just get over it, move on and continue with our lives as normal, that is what I believe so." Said the girl who thinks of death of others, she is riding a train along with a woman and a little girl who slightly resembled her.

"My name is Kelly Erica, starting high school in a quiet but peaceful town called Haruka in Japan. Me, my mother and my little sister moved here from the United States of America as a way to get over my father's death which he was killed in a war as a soldier of the United States Army just when I have finish middle school, we were sadden of his death but we understand why he died: He is willing to sacrifice his life for the country's safety and he wanted us to live out our lives should he die. My mother agreed with me that we should move to Japan to start over as Japan is the country I dreamt of going there as my mother have experience the culture before, makes me want to learn to understand and speak Japanese like her. I love the politeness, the manners, the unique way of living the Japanese have compared to the Americans here which, in my opinion, they are rude, unmannerly and live like the lazy, uncaring, greedy, football-loving fatasses they are (this is a true fact), gosh! Once we are at our new home though, I will live the life I wanted as my dad wanted me to along with my mom and little sis, forget everything in America, live like the Japanese and having fun with new friends." Kelly deep in thought as the train passed by a neon-filled city under the light of a full moon, resting on her mother's shoulder with her little sister napping on her legs on a seat.

A boy with black hair and red eyes is shown resting against a sakura tree, he has clip-on headphones on, looking at the full moon in the star-filled sky shining down the grassy plains where a town is seen a far distance away, on his hand is a red and black MP3 player which he clutches tight.

"Death of a loved one should not be forgotten, even if you are willing to grieve for the rest of your life. Love is eternal even in death, people who lost their loved ones shouldn't forget the moments they have spent together for a long time, whenever if it's a mother or someone they been in love with, forgetting them is worse than losing them, that is a regret I shall never experience."

As he stands up, he sees a train a distance away heading to the town.

"Life is unfair and cruel, reality is also, nothing in this world is fair, we always lose who we loved, only thing that erases the pain is embracing Death with open arms."

"You shouldn't be littering, sheesh..." She pick up the can and puts it in a nearby recycling bin.

"You can speak Japanese? Never thought girls from the West bothered going here in Japan..." The boy looked away.

"Mmm, I'm not like them, I'm here to find new things to enjoy, especially the 'kawaii-ness', heh heh." The girl quietly laughed. "I saw you at Shinsenharu High School in my first day, guess we go to the same school huh? I kinda want to talk to you as everytime I see you at school you were always alone, listening to your music like you don't care about anything you know?"

"Why do you care... we don't live forever you know... some died early..." He said, taking off his headphones, he checked his pockets. "Darn, no more Yen, could of brought more from home."

"Well, we should live it out, you know." She walked to the nearby vending machine, put in some coins in the slot, pressed a button, a can of caffieine soda dropped below, she take it out and opens it, she walked back to him and holds it to him.

"This stuff ain't healthy you know but eh, your call." The girl grins cheerfully with her eyes closed.

"You don't have to be so kind..." His eyes away from her, he blushed.

"I just like to make people happy, it's what I am, but this doesn't mean I like you, I was hoping if you be friends with me..." She closed one eye and smiled. "Take it." She shook the can lightly.

"Thanks... but I don't need friends..." He takes it and took a slip from it.

"I'm Kelly Erica, I just moved here in Haruka a few days ago, as you know, I'm from America." Kelly introduced herself and bowed. "What is your name?"

"Kurenai Sakuri, Ke... ru... ei... it's hard to pronounce your name... sorry..." Sakuri hung his head down.

"Don't feel bad, mmm, hey, you should give me a nickname." Kelly suggested.

"Eh... that's for couples, stop trying to hit on me, besides I just met you." Sakuri points his finger to her with the hand which he holds his can with.

"Hahaha! You're funny, I'm serious, give me a nickname." Kelly placed her hand on her mouth to stop laughing too hard. "I don't like my name anyways."

"Whatever then." Sakuri closed his eyes. "Yokina... you're too cheerful."

"That's plain! You think too quick." Kelly sticks her tongue at him. "Yokina, 'cheerful'." She said the latter in English. "Say cheerful."

"Chi... eri... furu..." Sakuri tried to pronounce it in English. "Gah, English's hard..." He sighed. "Why my school have English classes anyways..."

"Chi... eri... cherrie? Cherrie! I love the sound of it! My name sounds plain to admit..." Kelly placed her hand on the back of her head. "Call me Cherrie for now on, Sakuri-kun."

"I guess so, at least it's easier to say it, but don't call me that, it's embarrassing..." Sakuri looked away.

Cherrie looks at the sky, stars are starting to show.

"It's getting dark, I'll be going home now, you want to come along for a bit?" Cherrie asked him.

"...Sure, if you want." Sakuri gets up as he took one last sip from his can and throws it away into the recycling bin, he put his right hand in his pants pocket and leaned slighty backwards, holding his bag with his left arm.

"That's what I like to hear." Cherrie smiled at him.

"You're kind of interesting, that's the only good thing I have in thought of you..." Sakuri's eyes looked away.

"Aw how sweet~, a lot of girls would be into you for your kindness." Cherrie said.

"There was one... she's gone a long time ago..." Sakuri closed his eyes.

"Hm?" Cherrie with a worried expression.

"It's nothing... let's get going." Sakuri said.

"Sure thing." Cherrie smiled at him.

A while later.

"This is where I live, nice house isn't it?" Cherrie looked at her house.

"I guess..." Sakuri shrugged.

"Where is your house?" Cherrie said.

"Over there." Sakuri tilted his head to a house across the street from Cherrie's.

"Cool, we live close, nice house too." Cherrie delighted.

"It's nothing special." He shrugged.

"Well, I'll see you at school tommorow I hope." Cherrie closed her left eye only, smiling at him.

"Yeah, whatever." Sakuri's eyes looked away, he walked to his house, his right arm was grabbed.

"I feel that you been through hard times, but don't hate on life, you gotta enjoy it to the fullest, I'll talk to you whenever I can everyday starting tommorow, you have a friend looking at you right now who cares about you." Cherrie, holding Sakuri's arm with her left hand.

"...Thanks, good night." Sakuri quietly said. He walked away as Cherrie let go of him.

"You too, Sakuri-kun." Cherrie breathed in relief, smiling.

Chapter 1

A teenage boy in the age of 15, resting on the tall grassy plains on his back, he looks up at the orange sky which the sun is setting near the far away mountains, he thinks of the many lands and kingdoms in the world of fantasy and wonders where he can explore as an Adventurer.

"So many places to go to, being an Adventurer is the best in life, I have visited so many lands so far, found many lost treasures, weapons, and new friends." He raised his fist up to the sky. "Look out, world, someday, I will become the greatest of all Adventurers!"

Knowing it's almost night time, he snooze away, he then saw an bright light inside his mind.

"Saku, Saku, it's morning." A female voice is heard.

"Eh, it's night soon..." The boy said in his sleep.

"Are you dreaming again? Wake up, dear, I got breakfast for you." The voice said.

He smelled something delicous, his eyes open, he sees a young woman with a pretty face and long bright orange hair, she is wearing a white blouse with a long pink apron, she has a thin figure.

"Good morning, dearest Saku." She said with a smile, closing eyes.

"Huh?" He looked everywhere, moving his eyes, he spotted at his reflection as a ten year old boy with black hair and red eyes on a bed in a mirror on a wall across. He smelled the delicious food again, he finds eggs on a plate and a bowl of soup on a table near the bed.

"Melissa! I was having a good dream in my sleep!" He complained childishly, he was having a dream about adventuring again.

"Oh, sorry to disturb your slumber, it's morning out and you need to eat, come on now, have some eggs and soup." The woman named Melissa, still smiling which Saku loves to see, she holds the plate with eggs near Saku with her right hand, with a fork with a piece of scrambled eggs ontop, feeds the food to Saku which he took a bite.

"It's ok, I'm hungry now, thanks for the food." Saku after swallowing the food.

After breakfast.

Melissa cleans Saku's mouth with a napkin, picks him up off bed then place him on the wooden floor on his feet.

"How you feel?" Melissa asked.

"Ok... *coughs*" Saku said but coughed.

Melissa placed her right hand on his forehead covered by his bangs. "Oh, you need to take your medicine."

"No thanks... the others might need it more *coughs*." He declines despite his sickness.

"That's the fifth time you said that, I appreciate your selflessness but I'm very worried of your health." Melissa gave him a hug.

"I'll be ok *coughs* don't you worry." Saku with a smile.

"Be healthy and strong if you want to be an Adventurer." Melissa said, rubbing his hair.

"I do." Saku grabbed her hand and lightly kiss the back of it.

Melissa blushed. "Mhm, I am lucky to have a young, mature, cute and blessed child in my life."

In the present, the year 10XX.

"My name is Saku Izana, I am fourteen years old and a orphan sadly. I live in a kingdom of humans like myself called Amircia, within the castle's vast town, lies an orphanage where I live is run by my caretaker, Melissa Celes, twenty-four years old, she owns the orphanage since she was sixteen, herself an orphan at age fourteen after losing her parents to illnesses and doesn't have enough Jil to buy medicine to cure them. I never know what my parents are or even if they still lived, the earliest thing I can remember is seeing Melissa's pretty face at the same time she runs the orphanage when she took me in at her place, she told me that she found me in a basket as a baby with a letter written presumably from my parents that only said my name (I have it still in my drawer). I was the first orphan she took me in as she said so, we began our relationship as older sister and little brother as more orphans below, at and above my age came here."

Saku walking through the town in the Tuesday afternoon with Melissa, holding hands together, going to buy food and new clothes for the other orphans. Passing people and houses nearby, merchants calling out to sell various things to people with enough Jil which is the currency of Amircia in bronze, silver and gold coins.

Saku, being fourteen, grown to '4.5' (much to his disappointment), his hair a bit longer with a short ponytail on his left shoulder and his bangs longer, one almost covering his left eye. He wore a blue short-sleeved vest with a short red cloak around the chest and a white long-sleeved shirt beneath, belted blue shorts and brown shoes with white socks beneath and wore a long crimson ribbon beneath his bangs with it's ends reached to his back which is made by Melissa with expensive silk for his 13th birthday.

Melissa wore the same clothing she wore past years ago (maybe another pair of the same clothing).

"Such a lovely day today, being with you by my side, taking care of you and the others is all I wanted to do in my life." Melissa spoke as she looked at Saku.

"I always like being with you." Saku smiled, he goes back in his thoughts.

"Melissa is a wonderful person, only loves us children and nothing else, she works tirelessly to earn Jil to buy us food, medicine, clothes and furniture by being a waitress at a fancy resturant near the town in the weekends, I wanted to help her but she told me that I should only work when I'm older. To do a similar thing, I refused to have food and medicine as I want the others to be well-fed and healthy, Melissa at first gave me a real scolding (and slapped me in the face, I cried) but expressed graditude for my selflessness. I love her very much, I wanted to show that I could be more than being her little sibling..."

"My, how time has passed, it makes me sad that you have been growing older after how much time we spent together." She told Saku. "I wish you would stop growing and be young forever."

"Ah, I kind of hope so." Saku looks down.

"Living in this peaceful kingdom for my whole life, it felt more boring year after year, I always wondered what lies beyond the borders of Amircia as the royal family forbids anyone other than the knights here from leaving the kingdom. I originally had a goal in mind to become a knight as a grown up to explore the outside world when I was ten though I have to be strong and healthy and I don't believe I could do it due to being sick and been in bed for a long time since I refused to have much food and medicine till I got better in my age when Melissa (while crying so much) convinced me to have much of them. It's not until my dream of exploring the outside world has returned to my thoughts when I heard from certain people around the town told of a legend about a group of young boys who used to live here decades ago have secretly left the kingdom without letting the royal family know their leaving. Outside Amircia, they have travelled to many unknown places, finding lost treasure, fighting monsters and have discovered new civilizations that is totally different from us, they have made up a name and called themselves: Adventurers. Unfortunately, there was no proof if they even existed since guards are over the kingdom and no way to leave without them noticing. Even though I am still willing to go out there and explore as an Adventurer whenever I want, I rather stay with Melissa and the others, they are my family."

Sometime later.

Saku and Melissa, her asking a male merchant about clothes, they heard some yelling nearby, two teenage boys of Sakuri's age are shown running away from a group of guards in uniform with swords and shields chasing after them.

"Capture those kids without harm! They must not leave the kingdom!" One of the guards yelled.

"We are tired of living in this boring kingdom! We want to become Adventurers like the legends told!" One of the boys screamed at them while running.

Saku, hearing the boy, felt the same way as him.

"The legends are untrue! Stop daydreaming and live here in peace!" One of the guards said back to him.

"In YOUR dreams!" The boy said.

"We must go back home now, it is unsafe outside for now." Melissa told Saku as she felt worried, she grabbed his hand and together they run back to the orphanage at the opposite way where the guards chased the children.

Arriving there.

Inside the orphanage, in the main room where the orphans are.

"Everyone stay here, there's ruckus outside and I don't want anyone hurt." Melissa told the orphans. "Saku, watch over them, I'll check outside to see when it'll be over... wait..." She looks at them for a moment. "Where is Hamilin and Maul?"

"They went outside after you two left." One of the girls said.

"*gasps* They were the boys being chased by the guards!" Melissa surprised.

"Are they going to be safe?" One of the younger boys sounding worried.

Some of the younger kids are crying.

"There there, I'm sure they're going to be safe." Melissa comforting them.

"I'll find them." Saku said, he ran to the front door.

"Saku, don't!" Melissa yelled out to him.

Just as Saku opens the door, it opens, shows a knight in full armor with the two boys by his side.

"Are they your kids, ma'm?" The knight said to Melissa.

"Yes, Hamelin and Maul." Melissa said. "Thank you."

"They were trying to leave the kingdom, it is forbidden to do such a thing said so by His Majesty." The knight explained.

"Please sir, why so?" One of the boys asked.

"I am not authorized to explain such a thing, besides, you two aren't off the hook, those who tried to leave will be severely punished, in the dungeon for a month for the both of you!" The knight said.

"No! They're just kids! They don't deserve to be put into the dungeon!" Melissa pleads.

"I'm sorry ma'm but it's what His Majesty said, come now you two." The knight grabs the boys up by their shirts and starts to leave. "Legends are lies, it only influence those to do the wrong things, that is what I was raised to know."

"Hold on!" Saku yelled at the knight, which he stopped. "I'm also bored with the life I have here, I never knew who my parents were or even if they're alive but I always wondered why I look different from all of you who's pupils are blue as the sky and mines red as blood within us, if I'm different from the rest of you then the legends of the Adventurers and about the other kingdoms might been true, I might be from another kingdom, please sir knight, let them go but let me leave the kingdom, I gave my reason why."

The knight gave a sigh. "To admit, I have kept a secret from His Majesty, the legends are indeed true, decades ago I have meet the Adventurers as the silly-minded fools they were, the leader was the most foolish one, I gave them a chance to leave the kingdom if the leader can defeat me in battle, as you guessed it, he managed to best me in a duel and earned my respect, they went off to adventure, years later, they returned grown up with a map of the lands they have made, the leader gave it to me and told me to hand it to the next person who can convince me of explaining his reason of wanting to become an Adventurer and if they can best me in a duel." The knight walks close to Saku and removed his helmet, showing his face in his mid-30's with long blond hair and one blue eye which the other is closed with a scar on it. "You gave me a convincing reason but now you must best me in a duel, if you win, I'll pardon these two boys and let you leave the kingdom with the map the Adventurers have given me, if you lose, these boys will face their punishment and you will not be given a another chance for your whole life, will you accept?"

"Don't, Saku, we'll face our punishment, at least he said the legends were true." Hamilin pleads.

"Don't get yourself hurt, it's our fault." Maul said with a guilty expression.

Saku thoughts about the offer.

"I'll... accept." He answered, he turned to Melissa. "I'm sorry, I wanted to be free and find out where I come from, this is my chance."

Melissa looks away. "No, I don't want you to go..." She then ran to her room while sobbing.

"Melissa..." Saku said with a sad tone.

The knight puts on his helmet. "Come to the town square at dawn, I will lie to my men and His Majesty that our duel is training you who want to become one of us, I'll prepare your sword and shield, your two friends will stay here for now." The knight leaves.

"Never I thought this day will come, should I be victorious and leave the kingdom to explore the world as an Adventurer or lose and be here for the rest of my life is up to fate."

Chapter end.

Prologue

April 27th, 2015, Sunday

In a quiet and peaceful town called Haruka in the country of Japan.

In the town, a family of a mother and a daughter from America have moved here recently in the morning, they spent the day together moving and organizing their stuff into their new home alongside many houses.

They both chose to move here from America as they have no happy moments there, mostly because the father/husband have died in a war as a soldier just before the daughter's elementary school graduation and the daughter's issues of being bullied and mistreated for her sense of maturity, they want to start over.

The daughter, Kelly Erica, a 15 year-old girl, she is finished organized her new room, she thought about the unhappy memories she had in America, she tried to have a cheerful attitude to make her widowed mother happy and herself in her life in Japan to forget those painful memories, to no avail.

Kelly has blond hair reaching down to her waist with bangs curved covering her forehead, clear blue eyes and a good-looking build. Her clothings: A blue jacket with a pink tank top beneath, blue shorts and white socks.

After finishing organizing, she decided to take a walk outside around the neighborhood to clear her mind.

She went downstairs, seeing her mother resting on their couch after hard work on moving their things in their home.

Kelly have the traits from her mother who is named Melissa, her being older, only difference which her hair is shorter, neck-length.

Kelly walked to her slumbering mother, kissed her in the cheek, she walks to the front door, putting on her white shoes, she opens the door and said some words to her mother before leaving.

"Sleep well, Mom." She left and closed the door.

Step by step under the orange light shining by the setting sun, walking on the concrete ground surrounded by walls and houses, the warm wind passes by her, her beautiful hair flowing back. Kelly feels her mind being calmed by the peace and quiet in the town, she see many Japanese teens her age hanging out, she like to speak with them, having learned their language by her mother who she used to learn it from her high school days. She decided not to as she didn't want to be turned down if they aren't interested in her mostly because she's a foreigner as she feared.

"Why is it so hard for me to make friends? I don't want to stay this way..." She thinks with a sorrowful face.

Minutes after walking around, she ends up in a large grassy field with various flowers a distance away from the town, on a large hill with a sole sakura tree almost devoid of it's petals a week after their blooming, the setting sun in front of her. She is amazed of the view, she thinks she can visit here everyday in sunset with her mother.

Looking at her new cell phone to check the time and took a picture at the orange sun after, she begins to walk back to her home, she then hears faint music from below the hill, catching her attention.

She walks down a bit, she spotted a Japanese boy her age laying down on the grass on the hill.

His hands behind his head with black hair, one of his bangs mostly covering his right eye while his eyes are closed, he has rounded headphones on each ear, connected to a MP3 player laying besides him on the grass hooked by his lanyard around his neck, he is dressed in a red vest with short sleeves unzipped with a white shirt beneath, belted black pants and red shoes with straps on instead of laces.

Kelly looks at the MP3 player which is the source of the music, she picks it up, sees the song's name scrolling across the screen, it said: Find My Way.

Curious of wanting to know what the song sounds like, she carefully takes the boy's right headphone off him and listen to it with her own ear, the lyrics are surprisingly in English.

Soundless plains, blessing winds
I hold my arms out, awaiting your warm embrace
Under the star-lited skies
Let our love bloom, until the end

The boy's eyes opened half-way, revealing his red irises, he sees Kelly standing besides him, holding his MP3 and has his right headphone on her left ear.

He simply smiled.

"You like the song?" He said, his voice sounds soothing and calm.

"Oh... yes, sorry." Kelly talk in his language.

He stand up, his MP3 still on Kelly's hand.

"You are from America aren't you?" He said, hands in his pockets, leaning slightly back, shown to be a half-head shorter than Kelly.

"O-oh, yes." Kelly said. "Me and my mom moved here in the morning."

"I see, nice to meet you, I'm Kurenai Sakuri." He bowed to her as a greeting, gives his name.

"Nice to... meet you too, I'm Kelly Erica." Kelly said her name, she bowed as well.

"Kelly, that's a nice name." He closed his eyes, smiling.

Kelly is blushing of his charming face, she then let go of his MP3 and take off the headphone from her ear, left them hanging near Sakuri. "Sorry about touching your stuff."

"It's alright, some people can be curious but that doesn't bothers me." He pushed the 'Pause' Button on his MP3, pausing his music. "*yawns* I love sleeping in a warm grassy hill during the sunset." He stretched his arms up then sat down on the ground, looking at the sunset. "Another nice day here, you will enjoy being here in Haruka, so peaceful and quiet, it's almost boring, it's just me though, lived here for most of my life, heh heh."

"*He's so carefree and polite.*" Kelly of her thoughts about Sakuri.

Sakuri looked at Kelly. "We haven't had any foreigners here before, at least since I moved here from Hokkaido, I hope everyone here welcomed you in open arms." He made the 'peace' sign with his fingers towards her.

"W-why are you being nice to me?" Kelly wondered.

Sakuri pats himself on the head. "I'm being nice, that's all, foreigners or not, we're all the same."

Kelly turned her head away.

"Would you be mad that me, an American, wanted to act like your people?"

Sakuri's eyes widen slightly but maintains his smile.

"To me, I'm fine with it, but to let you know, I like to know about your culture."

"Eh?" Kelly surprised.

"I like to know what you're are in the inside, knowing one's self will lead to understanding of one another." Sakuri pats his chest with a fist. "That is my way of making new friends."

"*For once, I feel that I can show what I truely feel in the inside which I didn't back at my homeland, mom, you have made the right decision to move here, I can finally live the life I wanted: Being with those who can understand me*." In Kelly's thoughts.

"So what do you say?" Sakuri holds his hand towards her. "Let's be friends."

Kelly puts her hand on his', both clenched their fingers together, forming a bond.

End.

Prologue

In the year 2015

April 11th

08:23 AM

In the suburbs outside of Tokyo.

In a house where a foreign family have recently moved in, a girl in her mid-teenage years named Kelly woke up on her bed in her room as her alarm goes off, boxes of her stuff unopen scattered around, she gets off bed. She puts on a school uniform consisting of a blue buttoned open shirt and a blue skirt, she brushed her hair in front of a mirror as she look at her reflection, a 15-year old American girl with fair skin, medium long blond hair with a pink hairband on top, sky-blue eyes which are partially covered by her bangs and has a pretty face.

I have always been the quiet girl back where I live in America, never talking to anyone there, always to myself, then I was introduce to Japanese culture which I instantly like it, giving me a chance to start over and make friends here.

"Time for a new life in Japan and to make new friends." She said with a cheerful tone as she winked at her reflection.

She grabbed her backpack and heads downstairs where she grabbed toasted bread from a plate on a table in the kitchen area and sticks to her mouth to eat it along the way to school.

"Bye mom!" She muffled as she heads to the front door, bidding her mother, who is cooking breakfast, bye, she left the house on her way to school after putting on white shoes.

The early sun shines above.

Kelly walks alone to school, she admired the peaceful and quietness in the neighborhood.

"Wow, it's quiet than I thought, no stupid teenagers yelling, no stupid rap music back home, this is gonna be awesome!" Kelly raised her hands up, one which hold her bread. "Hm?"

Along the way, she spotted a Japanese boy in the boy's version of the school's uniform walking alone in a distance from her to the same direction, listening to music with headphones connected to his MP3 hanging from his red sakura-patterned lanyard which he holds with his left hand, his other hand in his right pocket.

The boy has black hair with bangs across his forehead, some on the right side of his face partally covering his right eye, his eyes has red pupils, he looks a little smaller than Kelly, his face looks like a middle schooler's.

"I wonder if he could be my first friend (and he looks so cute!)" The foreign girl said as she ate her bread.

Kelly comes to him.

"Ohaiyo!" She said in Japanese to him.

"Hm?" The boy noticed her, has a high voice, he took off his headphones, left dangling from each side in front of his shirt, he looked up at her, being a head shorter than her. "Oh, hello, where your from?"

"Hee hee, silly, I'm American duh, my pretty blond hair doesn't prove it?" Kelly teased.

"O-oh, sorry..." He bowed to her in apology.

"Are you heading to Shinsenharu High School?" Kelly asked.

He nodded.

"Sugoi! I'm there too, I moved here recently, do you like to be my first friend in your country?" Kelly smiled.

"I like too... but I can't..." The boy said in a sorrow tone.

Kelly surprised. "Huh? Why not?"

"I just like to be alone... I don't need friends..." He said without emotion.

He walks away.

"H-hey! What do you mean you don't want friends?" Kelly worried.

"I just don't want to... ever again..." The boy said now in a sorrow tone.

"Um... at least, you want to walk with me to school?"

He looked away. "If you really want to..."

"K'!" Kelly pat his head. "(His hair is so soft like a sheep!)"

"I'm not a kid..." The boy looks away nervously.

"Soaweh..." Kelly said it childish, meant sorry.

The two then walk side by side to the school.

This boy, he's just like me when I was younger, what made him not wanting friends? It's sad to hear it from him. I hope I can be his friend so he won't feel so sad.

-When The Petal Falls-

At the high school, in an area surrounded by homes a mile away from the city of Shinjuku.

The girl and the boy went inside the building.

Inside, students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year going to their respective classes, the girl takes a note from her pockets, looking at it to find the teacher's lounge to look for her homeroom teacher while the boy goes away to his class, Kelly waving him bye.

"Hm... this is much different than I thought, meh, at least this place is alot better than the average American high school." Kelly grins.

She finds the room after some walking.

Inside, she spotted her teacher, Ms. Furukawa, 28-years old, sitting at her desk.

Kelly comfronted her, the teacher noticed her.

"Konnichiwa, I'm the transfer student." She said in Japanese.

"Oh, you must be Erica Kelly." Ms. Furukawa said in English.

"Yup!" She said in English after hearing her speak her language.

Ms. Furukawa gave her a hand.

"Welcome to Shinsenharu High School, I hope you have a great time here."

Kelly shook her hand with two hands in a rapid pace, surprising the teacher.

"I'll do my best!"

"Ha ha... great to hear..." The teacher is nervous.

After that, Ms. Furukawa walks with Kelly to Class 2-B, which is in the second floor.

They arrived at Class 2-B, most of the students are in classes.

"Come inside once I call you, want the students to be surprised to have a student from America here." Ms. Furukawa said, smiling.

Kelly nodded.

The teacher went inside as she slides the door, Kelly is confused about how to open the door.

"Good day everyone,  here, I like to introduce a new student, she is from America who loves the culture here in Nippon, come in now!" The teacher told the students then called out to Kelly.

A loud bump is heard.

"Oh dear..." Ms. Furukawa slides the door, finds Kelly on the ground on her back, swirls on her eyes.

"O... haiyo... gozai... masu..." She said in dizziness.

After the rather comical event, Kelly properly introduced herself.

"Ohaiyou gozaimasu! My name is Kelly Erica, my family just moved here a week ago from America, I love the culture here and want to learn more about it, please take care of me." Kelly bowed after speaking her introduction in Japanese which she spoke perfectly.

The whole class looked at her then making passing comments, most of which about Kelly being a ditz after what she did before.

"Nice to hear from you, Ms. Erica, please, have a seat." The teacher pointed at the open desk in the back of the room.

Kelly walks to the seat and sat as the teacher continues with class, she noticed the boy with the MP3 sitting in front of her when she passed by.

"*He's in my class... should I talk to him?*" Kelly wondered in her thoughts. "*Maybe not, he'll think I'm into him, I don't want a boyfriend in my first day here!*"

After the succeeding classes, some time later.

Lunchtime.

The students are free to roam the school and even eat outside.

Kelly decides to eat outside, she is disappointed that the boy isn't in her classes besides their homeroom class, giving her less time to see him in school and despite her cheerful attitude and being a foreigner, no one seems interested of being her friend in her classes.

"*sighs* Oh well, maybe I'll have a chance next time with that cute boy..." Kelly complained as she walked with a lunchbag on hand, filled with a PB&J sandwich made by her mother.

She ends up to a fountain in the middle of the school's outside interior, she spotted the boy sitting on the side of the fountain, eating bread, he is listening to his music.

Kelly walks up to him front, the boy sees her, took off his headphones.

"Oh... hey Ke... ll... e..." The boy has trouble pronouncing her name because of the Ls' not being in his language.

"Kel... ly..." Kelly attempts to help him speak her name right. "It's fine anyways, can I sit with you?"

"Sure..."

Kelly turns back, jumped on the side, her being too close to his side.

"How you been doing in school?" Kelly asked.

"Ok..." He said quietly as he took a bite of his bread.

"Nice, I'm doing super." Kelly lied, math is her biggest issue, she is too lazy to read and write and her attitude annoyed the teachers and students, Ms. Furukawa being the only teacher who enjoys her company.

Kelly touches shoes with the boy's, enjoy teasing him.

"You think I'm nice?"

He nodded.

"And pretty?"

He nodded.

"Do you like me?"

He shook his head.

"I already like someone, she's special..." The boy blushed.

"Ehhh?" Kelly shocked. "Who is she?"

"She isn't from the school, she has a job." The boy said.

"Whoa whoa whoa, hang on kid." Kelly holds her palm out. "You can't like older women, that's mega weird."

"She's the same age as me, don't get the wrong idea." The boy sounding more nervous.

"K'... is that why you don't want friends?" Kelly asked.

"Kind of." The boy looks away.

"Oh ok, I'm not into deep relationships to let you know, I just want to be friends, having friends keeps you comfort, it's better than being alone, but you have a girlfriend so that's ok..."

"She used to be my love..." The boy said sorrowful.

"Wha! She broke up with you but you still see her?" Kelly leans back in shock.

"No no, she still loves me..." He laughed.

"(Yay! He laughed! He's getting close...)" Kelly cheered in her mind.

"I visit her every day after school, she doesn't like to be lonely too." He smiled.

"Nice nice." Kelly crossed arms as she nodded. "(Man, this is getting interesting, I wonder if they cuddle, hee hee...) What else you two do?"

The boy then frowns.

"Nothing..."

"Hm?" Kelly wondered.

"Nothing till I wait for my death, then I'll see her again..."

He gets up and runs away from her, tears left behind.

"H-hey? What's the matter?" Kelly yelled to him. "What is his problem?"

Kelly then spots his MP3 with the headphones lying on the ground, she walks to it and pick it up.

"He always listens to it, wonder what music he likes." Kelly then wears the headphones and played the (only) track on the MP3 called When The Petal Falls that the boy have listened to it many times.

When the petal falls
Life is like stairs
Each with memories, cherish them
The joys of living
Bring us all happiness, sharing it
To the one you love
With hearts combined
Live on till the end
When the petal falls
My heart still belongs to you
Our memories together, it'll be eternal
Love life as we have always been
Be happy always
When the petal falls
Meet again in another life and time
Till then...
Always be happy, my friend

The song ended.

Kelly, filled with overwhelming sorrow of the song's sad tone and lyrics sung by a girl with a beautiful voice, she took off the headphones and head back down as the bell rung.

Hours has passed, school is over for the day

Kelly, being in her carefree self with the teachers and her new classmates, she had fun in her classes.

Once out from school, she gone back to being sorrow, listening to the song again which she still has the boy's MP3, intending to returning it to him but has no idea where he lives.

"Where could he be..." Kelly wondering as she walks around the suburbs as the place is glowing orange from the setting sun.

"When the petal falls... does it meant about the sakura?" Kelly thinks, having little knowledge of the sakura's symbolic nature.

"Everytime I see him in school, he always looks at the sakura trees whenever he had the chance."

Kelly thought about it for a time.

She have figure it out where he is.

She went to a nearby place full of sakura trees

Kelly looks around, she found him.

The boy is looking at one of the trees in front of him.

"Hey..." Kelly call out to him.

He turns around, his face covered in tears but smiling.

"Hi... I'm visiting her..." He said.

"Your love... she's... dead?" Kelly said with a sad expression.

He nodded.

"This tree is where me and her became friends since we're little, we got close later on and you know... then she is gone..."

"Oh god, I'm sorry to hear that." Kelly looks down.

"I don't want to be with anyone else after that, I don't want to see another die, it's too much..." He wiped his eyes. "I have to go now..."

Kelly looks at him, looked away, she then ran and hugged him tight from behind.

"I don't know how you exactly feel but I know your in pain, your heart is lonely and I'm going to fill it with happiness by being your friend, I won't die on you, I'll be with you till the end..." Kelly with heartwarming words.

The boy turned around as she let him go, he cried and hugged her back.

"Thanks... that is what she wanted for me..." The boy said about his deceased friend.

She then gave him his MP3 and headphones.

"Sorry if I listen to it, the only song you listen to, it makes me think about you being alone, it makes my heart feel sad..." Kelly wipes her right eye.

"Thanks, it's alright... I'm Sakuri, Kurenai Sakuri, nice to meet you..."

A petal falls from the tree, Sakuri catched it as he saw it.

"Ke...lly..." He has trouble pronouncing her name. "Can I call you, Cherrie?"

Kelly smiled of the nicknamed Sakuri gave her.

"Of course, Sakuri-chan..."

Sakuri smiled brightly, making him look a little more younger.

My hopes that I can connect to the boy, my new friend, helping him seek joy and friendship that he deserves like I do, like I said, I'll be with him till the end... when the petal falls.

Prologue

"About us, we don't remember much about our past."

"Unlike the rest of our comrades, other than a father, we don't belong to a family."

"We, of our own will, never take part with any of them, knowing that personal attachments will distract us of fulfilling our duty."

"Maybe that's why we gain the codename 'Wolf' the two of us."

"As Alpha, the 'mature' Wolf."

"As Omega, the 'growing' Wolf."

"We are 'lone wolf' soldiers."

"Now, we are heading to a uncharted large island the defectors have found, called it 'Soldier's Heaven'.

"Our mission is to stop our former comrades from turning the world into a giant battlefield."

"It's not right for innocents to be involved in this meaningless war, they deserve to live out their lives."

"Unlike us and the other soldiers, we give our lives to protect them."

"That's our reason of becoming 'soldier'."

The Twin Wolves, Alpha and Omega, in a Blackhawk flying over the ocean, between day and night, heading to Soldier's Heaven, where the leaders of the defectors, the B&K Fang Unit, are leading them to cause world-wide destruction in their goal of causing the Third World War for reasons yet explained.
