ok, i dont think its a rule but it is highly recommended, and i used to get pissed off when people called me "Bobby"... from your response i think i would preferi it to.... "chan"...

if i were to critique your post there Ace, your paragraph is kinda confusing, try to split where the synopses ends and the extra explaining begins and possibly say how much of the story is written, a lot of artists dont like working on near non existent stories
He never asked you to critique his story.

The day my life stopped existing within the boundaries of logic; The day the world as I know it, broke free from what they call the chains of sanity.

break Room / Let us change the world.

This world must be changed.
Being forced to do something we do not want to do is what leads to the devastation of one, thus leading to the corruption of our generation.
Being forced to do something we don't want to do makes us VOICELESS, from such a young age, we start WRONG.
Being forced to accept lies that we absolutely know is wrong.. this is all wrong.
I will not lie, i do not know how to change the world as an individual but the greater, the stronger. Please help me share this!

You can clearly see a difference from when you first started to when you finished, great job again!  :clapping:
Now, could you perhaps draw a page from your imagination? something you created, be it random, funny or just pictures that dont make sense, i'm really curios to as how much you've improved ^^!

Music / Playlists you use when drawing/writing?
« on: August 29, 2014, 07:46:27 PM »
Here, you can discuss and post links to the music you listen to while burning your art (and or what flows inside your mind from words) into that paper!
I really dislike the idea i have to change a song that ends every 3 minutes while drawing/writing, it's a big turn off (i use a slow phone too, so..) if anyone has recommendations for playlists (not necessarily playlists tho ^^) then feel free to reply them here!
They don't have to be in English, too.. i'm sure alot of us here listen to Japanese as-well......right?
For me, i like:
TK from Ling Tosite Sigure - Unravel (Tokyo Ghoul's opening)
Soraru - Lost Time Memory (I think the original one belongs to Kageru Days)
Bakurock - Mirai No Rinkakusen (I don't even know the bands name, sorry x_x, but it's Bakuman's first ending)
UVERworld - Core Pride (Blue Exorcist!)
Eir Aoi - Niji No Oto (Sword Art Online's special episode ending)
Hyadain feat. Base Ball Bear - 23:40 (Bakuman's season 3 opening, not sure if the first one or second)
Kami Nomi zo Shiru-tai - Koi No Shirushi (Just listen to this whenever you're depressed omg <3, The world god only knows's ending, btw)
Lon, Soraru - Remote Control (Not sure of the original, Lon and Soraru are Utaites tho)
Nano - Exist (Utaite here too, but i think this was once the op or ending of Btoom?)
Glitch Mob ft.Aa Volkman - Our Demons
Soraru - Panda Hero
Rookiez Iz Punk'd - Destiny (Blue Exorcist's second opening)
Soraru & Suzumu - Kashokusei Idol Shoukougun (YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS)
Soraru - Senbonzakura
Soraru & Jin - Your Eyes
Tsukiakari (Darker Than Black's ending song, no idea of the band sorry :c)
Yoko Hikasa - Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai (Shingeki No Kyojin's ending song <32323)
Ariana Grande - Intro (This song, THIS DAMN SONG...)
No Game No Life's ending song <<<
And many many more.. please try some of them out if you ever feel lost but want to listen to some amazing music ^^!

Oh i'm glad you're not rushing ^^.
Well, the only advice i found helpful is to not copy so much.
Of course, copying can be fun and helpful and whatsoever, however sometimes when you've only copied so much, you find out you can only draw well when clinging to copying, so drop that habit (it'll be hard at the start but you'll soon be drawing as good as when you're copying ^^).

General Manga writer discussions / Re: Writing a psychological manga.
« on: August 15, 2014, 12:24:09 PM »
Ooh! i really like the two ideas you gave in!
You certainly do seem like someone who can make up some good survival plots, i'd say try putting more "dangerous elements?" (I guess..) and i'm sure you'll do good.
Unfortunately, i can't really be of any help, although i wish to write a psychological concept, my brain just can't work that out so  :(.. (Whenever i hear psychological though, i automatically think of Death note or Bakuman's Reversi )
But whatever you choose, i'll make sure to check what you've got ^^!

General Discussion / Re: I'm.. afraid?
« on: August 01, 2014, 05:40:50 AM »
.. surprisingly (and also if we ignore how cheesy it was), your reply actually somewhat motivated me!
And well i just realized i've been thinking too much into, "What if i don't like it?, What if the OTHERS won't like it", in-fact i've been thinking so much about this i forgot that i'm doing this as practice and not to show anyone at all  :bored:..
Thanks, you guys anyways!

General Discussion / I'm.. afraid?
« on: July 31, 2014, 06:12:10 PM »
I really don't know how to put this but i'll just get to the point.. now, i'm sure alot of you have watched/read Bakuman and if you remember, there's this part which Mashiro tells us he used to draw manga since he was a kid (back when he was one of Eiji's assistants), his art was not that great at all (and you can easily spot mistakes, but that's the point)..
I know it's "just an anime" but i'm sure alot actually did this, whether it's comics or manga, have you been drawing this since you were a kid or have you tried to do so?
I've got ideas and i really wish to draw my own, but i'm scared of doing so?
I know this is really strange (i mean usually, you'd just "do it" without thinking, but i'm afraid of that aswell) i mean, this isn't a life threatening game, it's just drawing but let me say that what i'm afraid of is my art, however a part of me STILL wants to draw this, even if it turns out to be ridiculously awful, i seriously want to do it!
I don't know how anyone would be able to help me, but any advice, or anything similar will do good! i would REALLY appreciate it if anyone can help me out!

Manga Writers wanted / Re: Manga artist looking for good writer
« on: July 28, 2014, 07:22:10 AM »
If you're still looking for a writer, your art is pretty nice.
However, i found the concept of your story rather overused, not something i'd personally like to read (sorry if i was mean, really).
If you're up to drawing something i wrote then i have no reason to say no!
Except, my school's starting in 5 days so i won't have that much time to work on it, however i'm sure i'll give it my best (also, i can draw names so you don't have to worry about that, if you agree to work with me then the script and the name is on me ^^).

Haha wow!
This is the type of stories/mangas that i'd definitely LOVE to read!
However, if this is not planned and played out well, it can as-well go downhill, just like Mekaku City Actors (the manga is called Kagerou days i think).
It has that kind of Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) atmosphere and i really like that! I don't think it'll fail because you already had the talent to come up with that story, i don't think it would be so hard to lead it to success.
I really like the name, it's interesting and the plot itself (at this point, i would call the plot you wrote a rough draft of what's to be in the actual thing).
However, one thing you didn't mention, are you aiming to write this as a novel or turn it to a manga?
For me, i'd personally think this would work more as a light novel, just like No Game No Life and for some reason, i think as an anime this would be pretty interesting (but don't dream just yet lol).
So yes, you have potential in your story and you can lead this to many paths and genres, you can infact turn it into a battle manga, a Sci-fi, or something rather new, something that has a mixed atmosphere from Mirai Nikki and Sword Art Online? you can even turn this into survival, whatever you chose, i'd love to read this one day so do not drop it, you can lead this to becoming big, trust my words ^^!

Starter Gallery / Re: Nyjun - Drawings...

Let me ask this again, you've only been drawing for a year and a half?  :notunderstand:
Seriously though, you have some INSANE talent!
True that your anatomy is not really.... the best but that can be fixed, however i also would like to ask, is there any reason why you only like to draw creepy stuff xD.
The drawing before the last reminds me of a creepypasta named 'The Rake' (If you don't know what a creepypasta is, i highly advice you to not search that  :sure:).

My my!
Your drawings are definitely something!, why are you even in the Starter Gallery ^^?
I can totally see your talent and your style, i like it! Please keep on updating your topic, I'm sure you can carve a future for your artistic self if you keep on drawing ^^!

Hm, do you know what i like to call people like you?
One that has guts ^^, when i started (again, no i'm not saying i'm some kind of professional, i'm still a beginner ^^)
i was scared of drawing things i imagined, oh boy how scared was i lol..
Seriously tho, i usually said to myself that "i'll never ever draw from imagination until i can set my hand to draw the thickness i imagine inside my head, otherwise my drawing will end up as something terrible and nothing like what i saw inside my head".
Oh about your drawings, sorry for drifting off-topic, i agree you have shaky lines and one more thing.
If i understood what you said correctly, DO NOT start a manga when you're a beginner (trust me, you'll get disappointed  :(, i myself want to draw one but i still don't think i can so i'm putting that idea away for now)
What i think you should do is to COPY manga, NOT as in tracing, looking and drawing. This will help your "Hand & Eye Cooperation" and you'll also learn so much by doing so, if you do start copying manga, if you feel like drawing something by yourself (again, doesn't have to be a manga) then you can immerse yourself in the awful world of anatomy lol.
Point is anyway, you have potential! keep drawing ^^!
