doodling a somewhat unfinished character design for one of the strongest villians in my story.. he's name is Tihiel "The Masked Reaper".

any suggestions for character design that will incorporate his nickname "The Masked Reaper" would be highly appreciated..

I'm thinking of his body type too so i did not draw his whole body.

It needs more depth as in deeper/darker shading in some areas but it's pretty good! Nice!

im not really satisfied with that piece so i rebooted it and gave a try to incorporate your advices.. your thoughts?

resetting my streak here.. darn vacation :(

i dunno why everytime i scan it, it becomes so messy and unbearable to look at... though not the case when in actual.. oh well, this for my first day.. again :)

i dunno if what i drew tackles the topic at hand.. But well, beauty of a woman is not in her body but in her eyes and feint smiles. I'm really attracted with girls with those traits, beautiful eyes and smile :)

Kodaka is the only guy who doesn't want others to be affectionate of him. Anyways, he is being a dumbass on this latest episode.

Okay, I've been inactive to MR forums for awhile now. Just got back up today cause I miss the workshops and the people here with the same interests. I want to apply mainly because I want to improve my skills. Practicing alone will not take me to the next level I want to achieve. I believe that in order for my skills to bump up is to interact with different kinds of people, get critiques for my drawings, and improve it. And I believe that this university will offer me the things that I am saying here right now.

I want to join here, I want my works be criticized by others, I want to improve my skills, and most of all, this university will get me motivated and at the same time, I will rack up my works here to be submitted in my portfolio. Not just manga, but I feel that my overall drawing skills will improve by me joining here.

Do dinosaur and quad core belong in the same sentence? Man the processing specs you guys are talking about are way beyond. For me, if i hear i7 then i want it. When i finally got my i3 it was heaven for me. Got to play a lot of the newer games. From what i hear i7 is even more monstrous

what i mean by dinosaur is that i've got a "prehistoric" quad core CPU. an old one. which is sad :(

nice work here man! really good stuffs, though you could improve the anatomy a bit more.

anyways, i've read shoujo mangas before and i can say that they have this striking similarities specially in the physical features of a character. Heck, even the personalities of the characters has/have almost the same characteristics and behavior. Okay i'll post my observations between a Shoujo and a Shounen manga:

+Males tend to have a cocky look.
+Males tend to have long faces with sparkling eyes.
+Males tend to be either fit or slim, but more of the latter.
+Males have a "bad boy" image.
+Males tend to fall in love easier to the girl with little/or no reason at all.
+There will always be love triangles/squares/hexagon/manymore...
+Females tend to have big eyes and eyelashes are heavily indicated.
+Female protagonist doesn't have a nice/sexy body. Well sometimes they do have one.
+Female tends to fall in love many times. Sometimes just blushing, sometimes really fell.
+Unpredictable outcomes (well for us male readers anyway).
+Shoujo mangas tend to have little/or no action scenes at all.
+Be ready for tearjerker moments and heavy dramas that will leave a bliss OR a HEAVY SCAR in your heart. (Bitter Virgin is the one Shoujo manga i've read that teared me up from the inside and out).

+Male protagonist tend to be always cheerful and positive.
+Male protagonist tends to always charm people to join his party or cause.
+Male protagonist always/or sometimes start out strong then gets even stronger everytime.
+Antagonists always come progressively at the hero based on their strength. They are always used to be a stepping stone of the protagonist to become stronger.
+Art styles vary for males and females.
+Females tend to have big butts and big boobs and have sexy bodies that is the center of the males and the male readers (lol even female readers too).
+Characters always have a name for their attacks and skills.
+Shounen stories and plots tend to be predictable in time. But that is not always the case.
+Shounen mangas tend to contain out-of-this-world things/fantasy/action and the likes. These genres are common to a shounen manga. Things like this makes a Shounen manga an interesting read.
+Females in a shounen manga tends to be weak and needs to be protected by the protagonist/ or it can be the latter where the females are the ones that the protagonist look up so someday he can protect them himself.
+Shounen mangas never fail to show the value of friendship, camaraderie, loyalty, trust, love, will, determination and many more values. It is like a bible (no offense).

Yeah, it's quite the pain when it suddenly flips out and crashes. It's happened a couple times before. Guess I'll probably just save up to upgrade to a better rig.

On that regard, would you know if it's worth getting an i7-3770k over a regular 3770?

a tip, pirate it first.. if you are satisfied with it and you REALLY want to be legit then go buy it.. as a customer, you should TRY it first before anything else so that you won't regret it..

As for the two i7's, google its benchmark :)

P.S.: user of dinosaur quad core here
