I get your point. If you in collaboration with someone you should get their twitter, facebook, Instagram etc Not only MR
I'm saying they also stop answering their other contacts.

@Coryn Even a backup contact won't help. When people disappear they fall off the face of the internet.

@Robin paying an artist has its own complications also.
The price might be decided on if the work is for personal or commercial use. Some artist may ask to own part of your story on top of that. And other things. Making manga pages is a long commitment unlike on commission drawing. Not many artists doing pages.

@Andou I have seen that collaboration work best when the artist and writer live near each other, they are friends or a couple and share the same goal.

In general. Commissions or collaboration. it's going to be really tricky finding someone that does it in the same exact "artstyle" you want.

I had writers disappear on me so it's not just an artists thing.
I'll say give the person one month from the last communication. If they just disappeared without saying a thing there is a big chance they are not coming back. Better to move on. Unless you paid for commissions thats a different story.

@keanfox thanks for your critique. I am very aware of the 3/4 foreshortening, but for the style I use at the moment, I generally avoid it or don't do it as much as i think is "realistic". Will probably regret with due time :P
What do you mean?

Love the style and line work.
In 3/4 view watch for the eyes foreshortening. Don't forget to add a bit of the far cheek, keep in mind how the head curve.

Will love to see your manga story. Whats the story about?

@legoCheetahs is not Neko so it makes sense. When drawingCheetah focus on athletic and the leopard print them.
Is there a way to draw a Cheetah that makes you like it Or it's just not your thing?

@Mahlua Thanks, I'll do the long hair or maybe both. I feel the younger look don't work for this character.

@SlamJam I'll work on fixing the hands

I'm learning clip studio. The tools I use are the ink and pencil pens mostly. It has a lot of stuff to learn. I want to try coloring in clip later. For now just the ink and pencil.

No, I just have it on the desk. An ergotron type thing will help me for sure.

@suuperB Thanks! I will try that

That robot snake looks nice. I like the designs. You are getting comfortable with it, you own it.

It cost me an arm and a leg. For me, it was worth it. I can draw faster, get straight lines etc. Only downsides are that the brightness of two screens in my face hurts my eyes. And looking down at the tablet hurt my arm, back, and neck. If you going to get a big Cintiq I hope you have a comfortable workspace for it.

I read it. So far it's gender bender story. A boy wakes up to find himself in a girl body. But have his boy part. Girl body, male genitalia. I don't know the terminology but doesn't that make him transgender? Idk just a thought.
I like the cover and the fantasy feel of it. When is that coming into the story? He loves video games, I guess he may go into a sword art online world.
Is this the final form of the story, text with little art here and there or it's going to be like a manga later?

If you want to write in English and your story going to be text-based, its good idea to work on your English.
Depends on your priorities. If you want to be a writer or an artist or both. Know what you want and go for it.
