Manga Writer workshop / Re: Script Slinging!
« on: May 20, 2016, 09:50:18 PM »
It was during one of those rainy spring showers which so frequently occurred in 1972 that Michelle first meet Mr. Underpants. She was coming home from school when she saw the puppy rummaging through her garbage looking for something to eat but the wet dog of a mixed bred crawled out of the garbage can with a pair of her father's old boxers in his mouth. Feeling sorry for him, she picked him up and brought him inside her house in order to dry him off. Michelle, a young girl of only thirteen years, knew her father wouldn't approve of her having a pet so she was determined to keep him hidden. As two weeks went by Michelle's father noticed his underwear had been missing but had no idea why.

One day he found a pair of his underpants on the bedroom floor which looked clean and started to put them on. The puppy jumped up and bit into the tasty cotton underpants tearing them and struggling with their rightful owner. Michelle's father was yelling and the teenager ran to see what was going on just to see the puppy playing with her father's torn undergarments and her dad with a towel wrapped around himself. Her dad looked at her and asked what she had been feeding the dog and when she responded her mother's left-over lasagna her father responded: "No wonder he resorted to eating underwear. Let's buy him some nice food instead". So, they did and Mr. Underpants didn't eat underpants again, or at least until they ran out of dog food.

You have some nice sketches. I would love to see a few more which are polished....
Some of the faces lack variety in expressions. While they look nice I personally like to see many different expressions among different works of art.

Well, I have a few series I've been working on:

Lost Chronicles: In this world science has defeated magic and those who use magic are seen as evil. It has a large basis in mythology : I blended a lot of elements from Arthurian, Norse, and Greek mythology into the plot. I also tend to have good guys who occasionally do some horrible things for the greater good.

Ninjas for Hire: This is more of a comedy following a college student named Miki who after her father dies she inherits his 'security' company only to find out it's not a security company at all. It's an agency which supervillians go to when they require ninjas to protect their assets. Why do ninjas need agents? They do it so that they can get health insurance, 401ks, and days off. The agency provides a nice benefits package but Miki has no idea how to run it and thus in order to gain her full inheritance she has to prove herself by working as a ninja herself. Despite being trained in martial arts she's not prepared to deal with blundering supervillains, egotistical heroes, and that only scratches the surface.

My Best Friend is a Zombie: When Kyle's best friend Jeremy is bitten by a zombie on a camping trip he can't bare the thought of killing him. So, instead Kyle finds a way to protect himself from his best friend biting him (mostly with a leash and a stick) and brings him home. He tells his parents that Jeremy's parents are out of town for a long time and if he could stay with them. Kyle's parents think Jeremy might be a little sick and worried they allow him to stay. Unfortunately, Jeremy doesn't like movies nor can he talk about anything else but 'brains'. Worried about his best friend's new appetite Kyle gives Jeremy his pet hamster, Fluffy, which Jeremy bites into. But Fluffly escapes and Kyle decides to let it go as nothing. After all how much harm could one little zombie hamster cause?

I'm not done with any of them though.  :-\

Nice drawings but it's really too early for me to say anything else. Right now I have no idea what the plot of the story is suppose to be.  :notunderstand:

Cute story, but serious just a bun turns the queen into a damsel? I would've used a wig or glass or both. Other then that it was a cute story. I really like the fact Larry wants to reject the queen and seems convinced that she's a stuck-up bitch.

Sorry, I'm a sucker for romance at times and yes I do like the old school anime.

Most of them are just rough sketches...

It's hard to choose a favorite but I like a lot of old school stuff: Cowboy Bebop, Record of the Lodoss Wars, Sailor Moon, Future Diary, Monster, Fushigi Yugi, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Bokura no Kiseki (Our Miracle),and Dawn of Arcana. It would be hard for me to choose just one.
