Kara Lyn if your in any doubt as to weather or not to read some of his work, i can defiantly recommend it. He is a very good artist. i have drawn along with a few of his youtube videos before and just as a thank you for uploading them so i could learn from them i purchased his book Miki Falls Spring, now im engrossed in the story and cant wait for the next installment(or 3) to get delivered
I've also used the MU tutorials, pretty good place to start learning to draw manga they have a few basic guides for each aspect of drawing.
From there i purchased a book MEGA MANGA- The complete reference to drawing manga by Keith Sparrow. Its broken up into sections. Female figures, Male figures, female faces, male faces, a small section on ears eyes and emotions, female hair, male hair, hands and arms, legs and feet, male and female clothing, accessories, weapons, animals and vehicles.
So far I've completed the female figures and half of the male figures and have already noticed my art work getting better. the information and drawing is pretty basic but can still be of good use for a beginner at RRP only £9.99 id say its worth it.
As im aware there are some really great how to draw manga books out there, one i noticed costing well over £120, I'm sure it must be a great book but i don't have that kind of money to spend on a book as I'm sure most other people don't but id defiantly recommend getting yourself a good book to learn from... that way you don't have to sit in front of the computer screen all day, and you always have it on a shelf for reference.
Just my 2cents, hope it helps :)
