General Manga writer discussions / Not sure of next step...
« on: August 01, 2012, 02:14:00 AM »
Ok, this is my first thread started, so not sure if this is going in right place, except it is a general question that has to do with writing manga. I have a story in my head that i am pouring on to paper as of this time, my main problem or question is, How do I convert it from the massive pile of ideas ( they are in chronological order mind you) to the Storyboard step, where I can start picturing panels that flow. I mean I have panel ideas already, but if I don't have a story board (I guess you could call it a script) it doesn't make any sense to draw, except for practice. I normally oil paint, landscapes, portraits, and nudes on canvas and usually for commision), but writing and drawing manga/comics is like a whole other beast. I could post some of what I have down if that would be necessary, but I already have like 10 pages back and front flled and I have tiny hand writing.
Thanks in advance,
