Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica lol. Watched it a while ago.

Paranoia Agent lol. Watched it today.

Anyway, Mind Screw animes. There doesn't seem to be a decent list out there. Probably because most people write down what they first come to think of aka Higurashi. Always that Higurashi.


Of course TV tropes has list but I... I... I don't believe them. Even they miss some, I know.

So guys. ARE! YOU! READY?! FOR SUMMER ANIME 2011?! Some of the spring anime were pretty epic, BUT THAT'S IN THE PAST!

BE EXCITED!

Even though we have a lot of Lucky Star K-on imitators


What surprises me the most is that not one of the girls in the first picture has long hair. But seriously.... Realistic vs moe in this one. Haha. I'll make a battle topic when the time comes.

We also have some pretty interesting ones.
Well, it certainly LOOKS interesting. And no, it's not about what you think. She's apparently some guy's butler. Some guy in highschool? Wtf.
Take a look at the art. You don't want to watch it. Take a look at the girls face. You know it could be awesome!
Romance, good art, what is there to say?

No description, but MAYBE it could be good. Shoujo, comedy, fatnasy. Weird combi.. let's see eventually

Read a couple of chapters of the manga. The art is good but the story bored me. MAybe it's better animated.

Manga Artists Wanted / If you have any spare time!

Okay, so I'm trying to make a Visual Novel. It's only for fun and because I read a manga about a guy who was a genius at programming. I just felt that I'd try it out so I could feel a bit like him ^^- To some extent"e"-desu

Anyway, if you feel like providing some characters (OC characters) or maybe a background, I'll use them.

I'm not really experienced in making Visual Novels, but here's the... requirements (???)
Characters:

• The image must be saved as .png
• Everything that is not a part of the image must be transparent
• I'd like at least two emotions. Smiling, Surprised, Normal and Giggle f.x.
  

A character I use atm is 286x600

Backgrounds:

• The image must be saved as either .jpg or .png, though .jpg is prefered
• I think 600x800 is the right scale

I can make characters smaller and larger as I wish.

Do I have any idea what's going to be about? Nope, not at all. You can come with ideas if you want to. It's mostly for practice and fun.

Oh, and I accept everyone's art. No skill nor post/activity requirement. Credit in form of [username] will be given ^^-

So guys how many of you have read this manga?
I was pretty bored today so I picked it up again (I've read it before) and decided to make a topic about. And the rest is history.

To those of you who don't know it, well, it's a very otaku oriented manga. It revolves around this A&M club's members and their daily lives which consist of going to Akihabara, sitting in the club room and going to the Comic Fest. And of course playing porn games.

What kind prices are we talking?: I don't know, but read above
How tall am I?: About 175 cm tall (This leads to the next question)
Who do I wanna cosplay as?: The little girl and main character, Furude Rika, from Higurashi (no Kanu Koro ni/kai/rei)
The outfits I want to cosplay as comes in order so the one I want to cosplay the most is the first

How do you start your drawing? Especially the anatomy? I find this a good question :)
My way:
I start off with a double triangle
then I draw some skin
and wupti, we've got us a sketch :)
(Note that I use sticks for arms and legs, and then place skin, fat, muscles, meat etc over them)

So here's my manga; Sweet Love
The story's about a girl, who lived on the street as little, but then one day a man takes her home. The man is a candy maker, and teaches her. One day the man dies, and the girl moves away to start her own shop (Hmm... I need a name for her... Maybe Kanna... For the time being it is). Then when she's just moved in, another candy maker moves in next to her... Cool son = love / Angry father, who destroys Kanna's shop, but becomes good in the end = action.

Hmm... As far as I understand, Sweets is British and Candy is American, right? Hmpf, I would like to use both as I please, but that's not possible is it? :'(
