It felt kind of sad writing the last few words, yet a sense of accomplishment overcame me. The fact that I wouldn't be as immersed in that world I made anymore and that I needed to move on, was hard to consume, but I was happy that I finally wrapped things up and had the freedom to build more new worlds.

Yeah, definitely. And I think maybe this is a good place to learn how to make the transition. I've done some searching around and its of helpful stuff. I think Manga writing would be a good new challenge for me.

I watch anime a lot on crunchy roll. The commercials can get annoying, but it comes out fast with good subs and quality. Of course when there isn't the certain anime I am looking for I go on other sites like watchanimeonline.com

I feel like character growth does matter, but characterization matters more. There are some stories that do well and don't have any character growth and those are because of characterization. Building up a character, their backstory. their interests, it's one of the most important things and rather or not that changes is up to the writer. I think if there is a lot of growth though, the whole story kind of just shifts onto that, rather than if you are aiming for a more deep plot. The reader may focus too much on the growth and not the plot you want them to see. With a deep plot you don't want to emphasis character growth too much, or it will takeover the story, but if your entire story is about that growth then definitely emphasize like no other.

If the story is set in Japan I really only put san, chan or kun and if there is a japanese phrase, like please take care of me or I'm leaving first, I always put it in english and if a character is talking about speaking in Japanese like, "I don't speak english" I make it obvious beforehand that they are japanese natives so they are speaking japanese in the story.

I really likes writing my Fan Fic for Vampire Knight, simply because I didn't like the Main Character the story already had and I felt like I made the story better for myself when I wrote it. I am also in the middle of a few projects and instead of focusing on my main one I always go back to my K Fan Fiction, because it's an OC X Mikoto Suoh and Mikoto is such a fun character to write it makes me so happy to even think about putting him in romantic situations.

I feel like it is important. Manga is all about the tiny details, which is why I love it so much. Like for Levi from Attack on Titan his height has a lot to do with his characterization. I also thinks it helps with scaling them to other characters and making them more real for the reader.

What I do is when I get in those ruts I set a time frame for me to write and if I can't get myself into writing details I write little parts or notes to what I'm going to write when I'm up to writing the details. And in if I'm really stuck I wait it out.

I'm just a simple Fan Fiction writer on Quotev and fanfiction.net who has an idea for a manga. I want to get more of a feel for this site before I post a thread for a manga artist though. Maybe i'll even ask for some critique for my work, I need some truthful, fresh eyes sometimes. My profile on Quotev and Fanfiction is AloneLostForeverRebel. Go check it out if you're interested at all. I only have 2 published now, but a lot is already drafted and done.

I'm Karla, Female, I'm 16 and a student. My favorite Manga is Ao Haru Ride And Koe no Kitachi and my favorite anime is Future Diary or Fairy Tail.
