Thank you very much! Which books by Hampton and Bridgeman would you recommend in particular? Do you have download links you could send me by PM?
Does anyone else have books download links or titles?
I'm currently studying poses a bit more seriously, I updated my thread.

These drawings... I want to be as bad as you.

 Yes it would be great if you slowed down a bit, I'm sure it would look a lot better.
It's obvious you can draw pretty well, but you could also just skip the inking part, or do it with a pencil.
I stopped inking with a pen and people tell me here that my drawings look better now....
Your choice!

You're better than me so I don't know how much I can help  :-\
The bikini girl looks really pretty and her anatomy seems to be good (to me anyway!)
The sword girl... well, her sword doesn't really look like a sword, and there are some anatomy issues but I can't pinpoint them. However, I love her hat!

The bunny you submitted for the contest is awesome sauce. It should have won. It was cute, fluffy, artsy, useful (I want an inker bunny)!

I especially like the background and the way you paint with the colors, it's beautiful  :clapping:

Hm, I always try to post something positive but here I just want to say that your inking has many problems.  :(
Your lines are not connected together, sometimes you re-do a line...
Maybe you're inking too fast?

EDIT on 3/21/2014: Here are some new sketches I drew today. There's a sketch of my handd, and sketches from Loomis. I hope someone sees them and critiques them at some point.

Hm, I don't draw bodies mainly because I'm already bad at drawing faces. Well, I was getting slightly better at drawing the faces from Loomis' book till I stopped.

I've started reading webtoons, which (in this case) are Korean manga that can be read for free online. They have been scanlated. The thing is, the art is bad, especially in "The Gamer".
D.I.C.E looks slightly better so I might copy some of the pictures, not sure yet.

Anyway, I'm falling asleep in my chair, so I'm going to bed

Thank you very much scalz and Rojas!
I'm going to print off a few pictures from the manga you recommended so that I can start copying.

Thanks everyone!
Rojas, I will look at your tutorials more tomorrow.
I feel guilty for not drawing for such a long time. I want to, but I guess life just got in the way.

Do you think just copying a picture/manga frame would help me right now?

Could someone recommend a manga that's easy to copy/ whose author uses good proportions/anatomy?

I really, really need to draw tomorrow.

I like your faces a lot!

Thank you!

Sorry for not posting more often. I check the forum almost every day, but right now I don't really feel like drawing. :(
I wish I could draw more but I don't particularly like Loomis. I'm open to book suggestions or suggestions in general.
Anyway, here are the only drawings I've done in the past ten days. I don't like the first one, even though it took me ages. I used a compass and everything for the head, but maybe I should have gone freehand instead.
I really do want to improve, but I'm not sure I'm improving at the moment.

IRL I have quite a few issues right now, and I'm sure drawing would do me some good if I could find something nice to copy or a good tutorial.

Do you use guidelines? Because that's very important, even for pros. I always use guidelines, even if my drawings don't look as good as yours. I think you should work on easier poses first and really get the proportions of the face right, because I think you're almost there.
