I can almost feel the time you had to invest in the detail...

...if you start feeling comfortable with the program, you can start customizing, I do a lot of customizing... but for a sketch like this you do not need anything... the default settings are OK... if you have a stiff hand you can customize the tablet options...

grump: "the trick is the lamp in the foregroud" which draws the attention from the empty street as Dr.Striker noted out was not a lucky attention point in the picture...

this last were made in cs6, but for sketches it does not matter which version you use... the background is done with the pen tool, basic stroke path with a pencil, and the characters are made with the basic round brush with hand... resolution 900 pixels format A3

I definetely cannot place them in the center, there is still the golden rule of composition binding me in doing so...

It will look diferent with the shades, you will see the street will melt in the dark... :D - hopefully :D

I will shade it, I like things black and white...

I am glad you liked the boots and the gun :D

oh... I am far from perfrction... Drawing only hands in detail is actualy not so hard... it is the composition and posture in the big picture whitch makes it hard...

I did draw on paper a lot a but the digital pen suits me better, I feel more confortble... as for the correct lenght of the limbs... it is hard for me even after years... if you come with a complicated perspective it takes hours of remaking to get it right... sometimes I just resume to looking in the mirror for the correct angle...

Hello my dear friends,

it has been long since I posted something, so some preview on what I am working on...

I did not have the pen in my hand for long, so after the first sketches I was seriously worried weather I can still do it, but after a day I felt the touch comes slowly back...

Manga Artists Tools / Re: Dell Monitors

Hej, thanks for the discussion :D

Basically I understand the difference between the technologies, but if you look at the particular difference between the two mentioned models P2815Q vs. U2713H, which have approximately the same price, it is a wonder to me how could anybody buy the P2815Q (4K) over the Sharp version. It is no god for graphic nor for gaming... I think they made some miscalculation in making that one...

..." 6. Do not get the P2815Q , so far my sources say it's a tn panel with 30hz refresh rate - meaning it has subpar color reproduction and a laggy screen. They basically cut a lot of corners to get that price as low as they could. I'm personally waiting for the lenovo 28" 4k ips monitor that should be coming out around April for around the same price as the U2713H."
the ThinkVision Pro 2840m will be worth considering...
I am still considering even the Dell UltraSharp U3014, the prices after Christmas dropped quite low...

Hello friends,

I am interested, for some time now, in buyng a new monitor. I must say I am a fan of the Dell UltraSharp series and I would definetly buy one of them... Probably the U2713H... But recetly Dell announced the P2815Q (4K). I was wondering what is the fuss about the 4K monitor, I definetly see the ultrasharp U2713H as a better one for the same price...

Have you got any thoughts about this?
