Update! Chapter 2 added 12/13/16. 3 and 4 will be added soon, possibly even today. Sorry for the lack of updates here, but the comic actually has been rolling out steadily, about 5 pages a week, since Chapter 1's release. Hope you'll continue to follow our progress :)

Even more update! Not making a new post since I'm still at the top here :P Chapter 3 is added, and Chapter 4 will be up shortly!

...putting each picture into its own spoiler is the most annoying thing i have seen recently.
I agree. Totally not the way I originally intended, but when I put them in normally their large size extended out of the range of the page. If someone knows a better way to do this, I'm open to suggestions. I'd love to keep uploading what I have to here.
Edit: Now they're all in one spoiler tag. And now that I see how easy it is, I'll begin updating here the same as I do the website :)

nice effects/action and colouring.
things i think that could be improved on are backgrounds and shading, even if its just a little on the faces and clothes and stuff.
but seriously fantastic work, how long did it take in total for it to be drawn?
Thanks for the compliments, and the shading and backgrounds are something we're definitely going to work on as we move forward. Chapter 1 took us from December to April.

Thanks very much for the critique! I can see how Jeff's use of negative space can be a bit off-putting. We're also a simple 2-man team with no artist other than him, so creative use of negative space is going to be almost imperative :P Your read and support are very much appreciated!

After 6 long months of busting buns, me and my artist Jeff Santos have FINALLY finished the 70+ pages of our first chapter! We met here on MangaRaiders, and we definitely wanted to show it off here. AGAIN, there's "bad words", violence and some smoking that take place here. Recommended age to read is 18+! Without further ado, I give you PageTurner: Ch. I! Of Birds and Beginnings!

*UPDATE!! 12/13/16* Ch. II Of Entrances and Arrivals is now uploaded! Chapters III and IV will be uploaded shortly :)

*UPDATE!! 12/14/16* Ch. III Of Aspirations and Assassinations is now uploaded! Chapter IV will be uploaded soon! :D

Manga Art Gallery / Re: PageTurnerComic's Gallery!

Well, wait no longer because the first 70+ pages are available now on our website, which I'm pretty certain I'm not allowed to share just yet :) I have no idea what the NSFW stuff is about (?) but I'll have this gallery setup in a bit. The full comic will also be available here ( http://forums.mangaraiders.com/index.php/topic,16682.0.html ) in the forums in the appropriate section. As for the size of the heads, namely the guy on the right; every character in PageTurner is based on someone I know in real life. Zephyr, the guy on the right, is based on my dear friend Victor, who, unfortunately for him, happens to have a freakin' massive melon. lol. Hope you'll all enjoy our work as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Hey Bito. All I can say is that if you're intending this to be a manga, these are extremely long chapters. I'd write about the same amount, but by the time Jeff (My Artist) got to around 10% of the first chapter we had to stop because we were already past 60 pages. And your formatting needs serious work; very few people are even going to give this a read if you don't format it correctly. That being said, you are a competent writer. It looks good, and I think I can see where you're going with it. Clean it up, keep writing and it'll go somewhere.

Like like like. Also, in response to self-insertion and avatarism? In a sense, starting off no one knows how to write someone else. Putting a link to yourself in it helps you figure out how you'd react to characters, and characters would react to you; something super important to getting two made-up characters to interact properly. I think all fan fiction, even bad fan fiction, is important for an artist's growth. And think about the doujinshi market; people in Japan live off of that income, so not exactly worthless at any extent.

Giving a slight *bump* just to let everyone know that I'm continually editing the first post to add more artwork instead of making a new reply for each and every single drawing. Please comment and critique as much as possible :) Any and all questions are welcome as well. If a picture looks weird or disproportionate, click it again and it'll format itself to your page. Thank you!

Thanks for the support, Tramp!
looking forward to seeing your story :P

lol. It's super crazy long and hella crazy complex. I figure it's best to just finish our chapter and let everyone else see :) Chapter 1 is about 70 pages long!

Thanks, Mahlua :) Jeff and I like to explain it as a brain/hand relationship. He's able to take ANYTHING I say and draw it almost exactly as I see it. He claims it's only with me that he can do this with, too, so our partnership really does feel special :)

Hello everyone and welcome to the MangaRaiders Gallery for PageTurnerComics! I'm NOT the artist, I have drawn NONE of these pictures. lol. I'm the author. All of these characters were created by me. Jeff (my artist) hates posting stuff online because 24/7 it becomes a game of politely turning down people's requests to do art for them, and we're dead set on not letting anything else get in the way of completing our comic. We did meet on this forum, however, and we wanted to keep you all informed of our work. Look to an online publishing date of 8/1/2016!!

lol. The ENTIRE time watching that movie (and eventually reading the book) I felt like it was written for a different brand of pervert than me. A much dumber brand of pervert :P

15
Well, to give you an idea, I'm writing 4 manga at the moment for 4 different artists :P PageTurner is superhero/fantasy/post apocalyptic (and my baby), MAN-EAT-MAN is more grounded in reality, while still being about cannibalism and shonen-style fights (trust me, it sounds like Tokyo Ghoul, but it's NOT XD), Super Brawl World!! is a take on the MMORPG genre, using a fighting game as the base instead of RPG, and lastly For The Last Time is a romance story, based on real life. No genre (outside of ecchi and guro) really puts me off, and if an idea is good enough, I LOVE throwing out new ideas about it.
