I have all this time been sure that I can't draw. I kinda still am, but my eyes may be blurred by the perfectionist in me. So I'll go for it, I will try to impress you guys with some art of mine. If you like it, maybe I'll start a gallery and then who knows?

I quite like my way of drawing sketches and line art, so maybe those processes work for me. Although, I do want to get better. Coloring is the problem. I can color with my pencils, and it works out great. But my scanner kinda hates color, so it tends to screw it up. Coloring digitally, though, is not my strong side at all. It's sooo hard D8

So, to start off, I don't dare share anything but this quick sketch... here goes:

PS: there is no meaning behind the character. I just made him up as i drew.

it seems the more detail you put into the part of the drawing, the better it looks, for instance the shield, sword and belt.
its difficult to tell what to work on but the main thing which stands out is the face, im not too sure why but i think the placement of the features is too high, well i think the head is a bit too short....not too sure though.
btw nice hair, very simple but very nicely done!

I do see what you mean with the face, I guess I failed a little with his head overall. Except for the hair, yeah.
maybe I'll try to redraw the face in the same pic, or just draw a new one. Not sure yet.

i would generally suggest drawing a new picture, as it will give you practice in drawing the other stuff as well. not only that, but in the event you mess it up, you still have a full picture that is alright .
