Title: Hello from Poland!
Post by: HiddenDestruction on December 13, 2017, 06:09:30 AM
Hi! My name is Martin (Marcin in Polish) and as the title says I'm from Poland. I work remotely as a web app test engineer. I have a few deep plot shounen manga ideas but sadly my drawing skills are poor. In that case I decided I'll write my stories and maybe some of the artists might get interested in a (preferably) long term collaboration.

My fav animes are SAO, HxH, Bleach, Naruto and more recenly Re:Creators and (to sound more ecchi XD ) Imouto sae Ireba Ii. Those last two animes are about manga artists and writers so some of you might be interested :D

Welcome to Mangaraiders!

I desperately tried to watch recreators, but I sorta lost interest half way through. I kept finding the in universe stories more interesting than the show itself.

Welcome to the show.

I can't help myself to say it but I am obbessed with the Polish resterant in my city so I now have the strangest love for your country because that food is the best I've ever eaten. No jokes. Pierogis and Polish sausage, miracles.

The power of a true Pole made pierogi, 4327 miles away from Poland is enough to make you love the country.

Greetings fellow countryman! It's good to see more people from Poland - It's good to know that I'm not the only one here :).

I also like Imouto sae Ireba Ii in some way. The main protagonist can be annoying sometimes but the whole show is very nice and enjoyable :).

Thanks for the welcoming :)

I'd like to ask whether I could post one or two chapters of my story at "Manga Writers" section in Polish language or not? (once I'll will write them :D - I'm in the middle of the first one). I might translate it later.
I decided that I'll make it a light novel and I'll try to publish it in one of the Polish manga and book publishing houses - I have specifically one in mind. At least Daisetsu-bushido would be able to read it :D

You can post in polish if you'd like, but I can't guarantee that the forum will recognize any special characters you may employ, or if literally anyone else will be able to read it. We are an English based forum after all.

I once tried adding some letters which occurs only in Polish language. It just breaks into some strange characters, so it'd be better if you'll submit a translated version - in English everyone will understand it :).
You're writing a light novel? That's nice :). I'll gladly read it.

There is a website that lets me easily get rid of all Polish letters and change into latin ones.

Well, keep in mind, that MR has a PG13 policy. We got people of all ages around here, so try to keep things age appropriate.

If you are looking for something more risque. Our sister site is Ecchiworld.com, and has sections for all of that kind of stuff.
