Title: Rusinstein's Illustrations
Post by: rusinstein on June 23, 2015, 10:54:57 PM
hey, guys! new member here.:)
I just thought I'd share some of my art. my main characters. I have a series I'm working on but right now they're basically just character designs. no clear story yet. I'm just always into designing female characters.:)

Dylan, the lead character.
Koharu.
Mayu.
and Yua.

another image of Dylan.

well, that's about it for now. hope to meet fellow artists and manga/anime lovers here.:)

Having another look over these, aside from the 2nd image, the rest feel like the feet aren't quite long enough. Just a feeling I get from them.

Guh...ngh.... hnnngh. -wipes tears from eyes-

I'm not crying... I'M NOT! OKAY?!

These are good. Enough to make me cry as much as I did when I heard the song that lady-priest sings after Haven is destroyed in Dragon Age Inquisition.

you may want to vary their faces/eye shapes/body shape a bit. aside from the hair, color, and clothes, they all look very similar.
also, nice job. the coloring is very crisp.

Great gallery! I really like the Big Hero 6 girl! The thing I first noticed are the sizes of your hands, they seem a bit small to me in all the pictures, but maybe that is something you are doing on purpose? Otherwise, great coloring as well~~

I don't like the weapons. They look like they'd be hard to aim at a target directly in front of the suit. The design itself looks like it's inspired by gundam, but somehow looks original. I like the design.

Not too bad dude, it seems like there's a big jump from the end of 2015 to 2016 already in your art. I was looking very hard for something to critique with this picture but nah besides her kinda weird looking perfect circle boobs everything else seems alright, but maybe that's just her outfit? Your colouring looks good to, everything has a pretty solid look throughout your gallery in that regard.

Great piece there.  Do your characters have any names or the like? Is there any particular theme to your drawing or do you just go with what you like ?

wow some serious improvement from some older (recent) drawings. the hair is done really well.
i think the colouring on the skin is a bit flat, i think you could have used stronger darker tones, or a larger area of farker tone to give a more cylindrical (leg) feel to it.
the shine you added to the clothes is great, i keep trying to draw shiny clothes and cant quite get it :P

all of my original characters have a name. with themes, from time to time I just doodle pose ideas. then if I like the pose I think of a character that suits it, and maybe turn it into a fan art. if not, I just create some original designs. mostly I just make it up as I go.xD

I've been trying to improve this cel-shade coloring still I've been doing. gonna try and give it more depth.:)
with the shiny finish, just try and experiment with different colors and brush strokes. it took a while for me to get it as well. I just keep on revising it till I'm satisfied.xD

for the pose I usually come up with them randomly, I base the pose on the character's traits, like fun, energetic, serious, etc. if there's specific poses required then I search for references. I use a desktop pc. I use Sai as my main program for drawing and coloring. then photoshop for texts, effects, etc.:)

I just noticed your characters are all quite narrow, it makes them seem very tall.
although theres nothing actually wrong with it i just noticed it :P

i like how all the characters are consistently colored, they all look like they belong to the same place (i dont mean the uniform i mean the style)

i cant say much for improvement, but the blue haired girl in the middle top, it looks like she is just holding her hands at her hips, but not resting them, i think the clothes would have more folds to indicate the weight of the arms, but your clothing style is quite minimalistic on the folds, so it might just be that :P

well done, how long did it take to draw all of them?
Title: Re: Rusinstein's Illustrations

Ya all your characters seem to have the same narrow build which isn't like bad but you should work on different body types as well instead of getting into one zone since the characters, even the boys and girls, all have the same sort of look in that regard. Expect for boobs their bodies are board flat and the way you coloured the clothes adds to that. Keep an eye on the proportions to as some of the characters arms are off like the light blue haired girl, her arms look to small to me. I dunno if it's my eyes but it looks like some characters are leaning forward in a weird way, maybe because of their head placement?

Your colouring is pretty solid and facially the characters are varied, you've shown ability before and I'm not saying these are bad drawings, but I'd say to work on drawing different body types so you don't get stuck doing the same thing again and again.

which characters do you mean? the ones in uniform? they are commission work so their designs/look are by the client. I just did the illustrations for him.:)

So for these new uniform characters I pretty well have the same things to say about them but knowing they are commissions and seeing what you said it's understandable now. These new ones are better though but I still think they feel a bit samey in body type, but when you draw so many characters like that, especially in pretty neutral poses then that happens. and everyone has like a face they default to when they draw.

As for the last one, dude it's like the less clothes you draw the better you become at drawing. Pretty decent, I can't find many faults with it myself, I do wonder how costumes like that hold the baps in though, how tight does it have to be? But not too bad though her hair feels a bit thick and flat in parts the way it blows to the side. But your colouring is good and you seem to have just the right amount of shading. You choose good colours and overall it makes for a nice look.

thanks for the feedbacks! :)

yea, I guess the size of the image affects the look of it as well. cause from a distance, when they're side by side they don't look as "tall" as they are on the individual image I post. :)

with the last one, she's actually an android. basically, she's not actually wearing clothes, instead the skin is also placed "on" her.xD

Is that girl last girl with the legs from some Strike Witches thing I might have missed?

she's an original design based on the show. the owner had me design her based off of a t95 tank.:)

love the last one, the camouflage print is cool :P
i think the rocket launcher looks too light, in that the way she is holding it makes it look not heavy. yeah she could be strong i guess but it feels...off.
i figured it out after typing that, the center of gravity (assuming it weighs the same all over) is past her left hand so it feels like it will topple over.
how did you get the perspective so right for the mechanical parts?

Well it has double tracks.

So that, right?

It was a T95, but later renamed a T28 Super Heavy Tank at some point.
It's in World of Tanks. Thoroughly enjoy using them as cover.

Do you take commissions by the way? I'm probably interested in SPENDING MONEY to see a wondrous visual representation of my characters. Just send me a PM when you got time. No rush. I'm not close to finishing my book yet anyway.

yea, logically it wouldn't really  make sense that a teenage girl can hold a tank barrel.xD but it was a design idea of the owner, I just had to execute it. it's an idea based on strike witches anyway.:)

it took a while but sketching it over and over got me to make it look right.:)
it wasn't easy but a great practice for mechanical designs.xD

Oh wow! I guess I shouldn't be surprised given how good the parts look on the girls above but that's a pretty well drawn mech. I do love to look at these designs and see all the parts, you put a fair amount of detail and well...you gotta love the gun arm. Your lines are great and super smooth. Pretty well impeccable on that mech. That so called doodle looks really nice as well, oh so much detail! I feel like sometimes the faces and bodies of your characters don't fully match up with all the big parts...however you also draw the parts pretty smooth as well so maybe that's not the case. If I was to say a few things I feel the latest tank girl is a bit flat, especially with the straight side view of her cannon. However the way you draw all the parts is good and that's a pretty nice looking mech that stays in line with the style for everything else you've drawn! Cool!

that......is a very nice mecha
would be nice to see more texturing on the metal, perhaps with damage/wear to make it more realistic. otherwise it looks brand new, (which isnt wrong of course) :P

yea, working on cel-shade coloring is quite challenging. it's quite hard to add depth while maintaining the coloring style. I usually paint it to give it more depth, but yea, it was meant to be cel-shaded. I just need to figure out how to give it more depth without actually painting it. thanks.:)

Okay top looks good but her belly button is too high! Also her torso is overly long, I noticed you did this same thing on that assassin girl much earlier. She looks good otherwise and remembering your other pieces it seems you focus more on the character's design for these drawings rather then making them look perfect. The second one is really nice! Coloured and drawn well with good definition and detail.

The Velma one looks great. Can you tell us what was the difference between the shading style vs the other you didn't like doing? If you ever have time that is  ;)

thank you! :D
with Velma, I mostly used the airbrush and water tool in Sai, to soften the edges of the shadings, unlike in the other picture above, the young girl with a book. I used textured brush there so you can see some of the brush strokes. :)

Chibi practice - absolutely love it :). Great.

Soft shading can be very problematic when you smudge the edges too much. But you made it look nice - especially with the folds on Velma pic.

Keep up the good work :).

What programs are you using?

thank you! yea, I've certainly been struggling with proportions. I'm still trying to improve on it.xD
I mainly use Sai for drawing and coloring, but I use medibang paint for adding in the flats, and a bit of shading as well, and photoshop for texts and other final effects.:)

Ah that Peach one looks pretty good! Once again your colouring is rather solid and her hair as well is nicely detailed nice one! Mio looks good, something if off to my eyes about her legs, I'm not sure but I would there should be more definition in her shirt's folds. I know the pic you based it off but like I said before your art is best with more dynamic poses which I would recommend trying more, but otherwise things are lookiin' good.

with the thighs, I  think it's probably because of the length of her shirt that I did, it's only barely covering her crotch area.xD cause she also has a bikini version and I think the thighs look alright there. I'm actually gonna be working on more dynamic pieces this year. hopefully it turns out alright.:)

I like your work  ;). The dynamic poses of your first posts are awesome, you should do more of those. Good shading too. The overall body proportions are great although I agree with the comments about the hands being off sometimes (but not always). Also I tend to prefer the less roundish, more natural looking breasts like the Judy Hopps bikini one but that's just personal taste. Since you're good with dynamic stuff how about having multiple characters together, fighting or whatever ?
Nice work.

Seeing multiple characters in dynamic poses together would be interesting to see in the direction of your art, come to think of it.

With that redhead showing some nice lace, I can't help but extend an invitation to our sister site, Ecchiworld (as seen in my signature.) No offense to the artists there (seeing as I am one of them), but we could really go for having a quality artist around. If you're not interested, of course, you can disregard the statement. Of course, you'll probably get more traffic and feedback here with the way things are now. Just letting you know that it was an extra option.

thank you! and thanks for the feedback. yea, in the moment the hands seem fine but as I finish and post them I see they're too small. I really need to be more consistent with them. as well as body proportions including the breasts. as I practice more, the more I see which are more natural looking. gotta keep practicing indeed.xD

Good stuff. As always the outfits and characters look smooth and are coloured great. Those first three are very cool. The hand on the forth feels rather flat but I'm also not sure how else you'd draw that. The last shows definite improvement! The colouring and generally everything is a lot more exciting and alive. Solid lighting to. The lines are simple but work very well with the definition and shading.

Also that Morrigan from last post one needs to be coloured!

for posing, I don't really use any references but recently I've been studying Artgerm's and Sakimi-chan's works in terms of anatomy and lighting. their style is very different so I just apply what I can in my own art style. But if you did think of how much better your art would look! Artgerm and Sakimi are both very good artists and I know one of my favorite DA artists, Nsio, doesn't use references either, however I think there would be very noticeable improvement in your works if you referenced from pictures for the poses. These new three do look good though and the last two have nicely detailed outfits. The first ones arms look a little off to me though and that's a litttttle bit of a neck breaking pose. I would suggest trying different eye shapes as well to vary things up, but as always I think your colouring is great and in general you are doing good.

I used to use references with poses but at the moment I just want to learn without them. I'm trying to be stubborn that way.xD recently I just observe body proportions (and how they move) of actual humans whenever I watch tv or movies.xD I trying to avoid references just so I learn on my own. Lizard dude looks amazingly brutal. Wouldn't want to run into that guy in a dark cave.

But particularly I like the seamwork on the Mercy fanart. It adds a certain layer of depth and believability to the outfit that makes the overall piece pop more...although I'd expect gravity to do things to those bracelets. But, then again, I don't do the Overwatch thing, so I don't know if that's just the physics of her outfit.

There's a lot going on with the girl with the beach ball, too. I especially note the sun flare and the reflected light from the sky onto her left (our right) arm.

Wait. Someone has chosen to do a Ram fanart instead of Rem? This is a first.

The perspective is good here, it might be maximized if she was looking down and some more organic touches like her skirt riding up a little on a side, or in general not looking so even. It would look more natural and by extension spicy. As always your colouring is really great, like Misyne says the character are very soft, and in general it's a very pleasant style. Quite like her hair. I feel like her baps are a little overly pronounced, like they're in a compartment or something, I feel easing up on the lines are working in into the folds of her shirt would fix that. You did her shirt well with her bra showing through and the shading down her body.

Lizard dude up above looks really good actually, like everything is on point, sized well and such. The Mercy one looks good to, I feel like her leg is crossed a little dramatically though. I hope you don't mind that I always point these things out ha ha, I just look for stuff like that.

Your style looks pretty distinquishable to me already - but everyone's their own worst critic, right? :D hope you'll find a style you feel at home with. Myself, I'll probably be searching for my own style for a lot longer than that.

Process videos are always inspiring to look at - particularly ones that end up looking very different from the original idea. I use an app that automatically saves a time-lapse process video thingy and it's fun/depressing to look at those!

I feel like I always like your style more whenever I come back to check something out. Love the skin on the characters, looks so soft ^o^

Would be awesome to see some sort of process of these!

thank you! I've been experimenting a lot recently. trying to find that art style that's original to me.xD

oh, cool! most of my art really do differ from start to finish. I often change details along the way.xD and yea, it's awesome to watch them. I might do them someday as well. :)

I hope you don't mind that I always point these things out ha ha, I just look for stuff like that.

exactly my intentions, actually.xD I see more Rem fanarts so I decided to to Ram instead.:D

and thank you for the feedbacks! gonna keep them in mind. I agree with her breasts. there was just something I couldn't get right because of the perspective. I should've cut the lines before reaching her arm pit. I'm gonna give it another try some time and hopefully see if I can do better.:)

and no worries! feedbacks are always appreciated. I love reading them so I know where I can improve on. I'd rather read comments on my work about specific details than comments like "damn, that's wrong" without explaining or "wow, that's just ugly".xD

Cool one! Her design is nice and you did her hair very well here. I would say her pockets look a bit flat as well as her...jacket or other shirt...thing, and I think if her sword bearing arm was turned a bit more so we'd see elbow it would be a little more popping. As seen with the knight one above you actually draw a variety of things pretty well. Like those mechs before and the lizard dude. and yes all the outfits are good to.

for the pants, I don't think they're pockets. just patches to create some design to it. it's similar to Noctis from FFXV. :)

On the first one her left long is not long enough so it looks off there size wise, that aside it's another smooth picture. I feel it would be better if she leaned forward a bit more to create a sort of curve in the line of motion if you know what I mean.

The second one though is for sure one of your best yet. Everything looks on point, the outfit is awesome, the shading is good, it's well coloured and in general looks awesome! I can't really think of anything to point out this time, just give ya the claps. No not the clap but the claps.  :clapping:

I agree that the second image is one of your best so far. My only question is that if that green trail of, I'm guessing fire magic, is supposed to be like a form of magic, maybe making it a little more translucent will help give that effect.

for the first one, her left leg is sort of facing backwards a bit, kinda pointed in an angle so it's a little forshortened. and for the pose, I initially did her leaned forward a bit but the owner preferred this pose. I did the two pose and he chose this.xD

and thanks so much! she may get a partner soon. my friend liked what I did with her and now he commissioned me to redesign another character of his to match this one.:)

I actually didn't have any specific type of power in mind for her there, but I intently made the magic look more solid. the magic's is sort of just coming out from her tips and just about to attack so it's not it's full power yet. xD

For the vocaloid fanart: Overall I think it looks good. The soft color pallete is a good choice, and the clothing looks pretty good.

These are some things I feel like you could improve upon:
The bed is a bit too bright. Since it's brighter than most of the other colors, and it's a very large object, my eye is instantly drawn to it. It makes it a focus of the image, where I don't think you want it to be.
Also the way the sheets are drawn under miku (especially under her butt) they just kind of make her look like she's hovering over the bed slightly and not actually sitting on it.
The way miku's legs are bent looks a little unnatural. Her thigh and calf don't look like they're touching each other at all and they should be.

For the character design commission, I understand if the commissioner requested this, but the purple background blends in with the character a bit too much, since the main color on the character is also purple.

for the bed, that was actually just a filler. I wanted the characters to be zoomed in more but it's gonna crop most of the characters so I opted to how it turned out. thanks for the feedback about my shading, I'm still trying to improve on it.:)

some of the images are not visible at all, but...

fantastic latest stuff! i missed some previous ones of yours as well while i was gone.
i love the water monster. drawing elements and effects can often be the hardest because it is hard to find a reference of things that dont occur in real life, but you got the water effect fantastically done! i love the way it spirals around.

the range of styles and characters is very nice. I suppose thats partly because of the style of the requests you get, but being able to fulfill them shows your rounded out skill.
I had a glance back over some of your old work and you can see the improvement; your work has become sharper and more anatomically correct!

some images are not appearing on your end? I wonder why that is. at the moment I can see them all. maybe it's some sort of glitch.

thanks so much! :)
yea, the water monster was tricky. I googled screenshots of scenes from Aang's Avatar series. I remember his elemental form there and there's a lot of water animation.xD I figured that's the best reference for cel-shading a similar elemental creature.:)

and yes, I get to work on two types of rendering. which is very fun as I get to learn a lot in the process.:)
thank you again! I've been looking at pictures of real people and using them as reference for anatomy. I noticed in my older works I tend to make the limbs very long. which is actually not wrong if the character is tall, but I seem to do it on every character I did before.xD now I think I'm getting the hang of it and hopefully I can continue to improve.:)

just because you are good at something doesnt mean its easy :P

love the shading on the clothes, and some nice natural poses too. i think if you used darker shading on the body you might get a bit more depth out of it.

yea, it was an old post. I'm more comfortable at painting these days but of course I still can't do everything I want and still struggle from time to time.xD

When I look at my old work, I definitely know I'm better than I used to be but it never feels like I have an easier time drawing stuff. I'm kind of glad to hear that I'm not the only one that still struggles from time to time, whenever I see other people draw it always feels like they do it so effortlessly but here I am still straining just to figure out a pose sometimes.

Anyway, keep up the amazing work! Can't wait to see what's next!

its actually rather motivating to know that more artists share the struggle i always had the impression that most artists dont struggle with their drawings.

Recent works are looking good! Like I said before you handle a lot of different things very well, like the creatures and fantasy characters. I always say it but you draw the outfits very well! You always make the girls look doughy and soft. I don't have much to say that's new, other then you are keeping things up very well!

oh, no doubt. I often struggle with pose as well. then when rendering, the first step is always the hardest for me. there are times I can paint faster but most of the time it's still a struggle. I'm more comfortable now with my style but still not easy at all.xD

thank you! will post more soon.:)

agreed. when I look at other artist's masterpieces I tend to think "wow, they must have done that so easily cause they're great artists", but then again who knows. maybe they struggled to achieve the masterpiece as well. kinda like what they say, you can't rush art. so I tend to be more patient these days. it takes longer to finish stuff but at least I feel better about them.:)

Woah, the soft warm glows on the illustration of the sorceress looking leather-clad fire user look fantastic, my man. The only crit I got for you is to remember where your light source(s) are, and to keep them consistent. For example, on the fem!Gilgamesh work, it looks like the light would be coming from behind her, and it shows on her face--but the reflection on the armor suggests that the light is coming from in front of her.

Keep on makin' bank. At this level, you're definitely earning it.

well, this was supposed to be my entry for CDC (character design challenge) for the month of December, but I broke a rule. I was bumping my post and apparently it wasn't allowed, so I was removed from the group. I wish they warned me first though. I honestly had no idea it was a rule, and a strict one at that. but it is what it is. that is their rule so I have to respect it.:)

I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z and it was definitely one of the few shows back then that got me into illustrating.
me and my brother always had a competition on which Frieza and Trunks (our own versions) look best.xD
anyway, here's my take on Trunks and this got me inspired to do Frieza (and possibly Buu) in my style as well.

well, I guess this now is just my first fan art for 2018.xD

Really like your work Rusinstein.

I think you could do with doing some proportion studies, focusing on width. In general, i think consistently you're drawing your bodies too wide relative to the head. With ideal proportions, the shoulders stick out 1/2 head out from the face, which is generally the widest bit. It might be intentional, but i feel like it's taking your work into the uncanny valley :)

Your soft style rendering is on point

Cool stuff, I like the designs and the poses. The third one is great, her form is well drawn and it has a Cry For Dawn feel with all the skeletons. Arrow girl looks great as well, nice colours and details. Cool beasts also! The perspective in the second one is almost there, but I think her chin throws it off a bit and possibly the size of her legs. But as normal you are always doing cool things with good variety.

Great work as usual, bud.
If you don't mind revealing trade secrets, how did you start getting commissions coming in? Did you just post a lot on Deviantart, or did you go out and search for an audience? Like, how did you advertise yourself? It seems to have worked for you with all these commissions, so I'm a little curious.

hey there! thank you! :)
well, it certainly was a struggle at the beginning. my steady job closed down so I had to freelance, anyway, I went on through a few months with barely any work at the time. at first I applied to a lot of posts in deviantart's Job Offers section. I got some work there but not a lot, only a couple of long-term projects. most people who post there are very specific. during idle times I just kept making samples just to keep my portfolio moving. eventually I posted on the Job Services section. that's where you can post your commission info and samples. I think most of my regulars now just saw my post there. I was lucky enough that they keep coming back to work with me.:)

lovely varied work. I like the pink dress one the most.
I think maybe you make your characters too wide around the upper body, or maybe it just needs a bit more shading as it looks a bit flat. Maybe a bit more darker dark in your shading all round would be nice, you tend to avoid the blacker darks so everything looks very light.

good to know about how your commissions got going. I too need to start doing that "at some point" :P
so you have regulars that keep coming back, huh? I never thought about that before.

yea, I need to work on that. I'm having a bit of issue with how I'd like my style to develop. I still want to maintain the anime feel to it with just a touch of realism, so I'm often stuck on picking the right palettes when shading. rendering the body with a bit more depth is actually not an issue for me but rather matching it to the face is. it's quite difficult to add too much definition to the face as it loses it's anime feel. and more often than not, it doesn't turn out good.xD so I tend to dial back the rendering on the body just to keep everything more coherent.xD
thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely keep that in mind as I do more semi-realism stuff. :)

and yes. I didn't really think they'd stick around with me. usually I just get one-off commissions. but some of them kept coming back and became regulars. been working with them for months now. :)

thats a fair point, It is hard to maintain that manga style on the face but have the body shaded more realistically. I've actually run into that myself the last week or so as I've been studying shade (finally).
keeping it coherent is definitely a good reason, and totally understandable.

yes.:) that's why I've been dabbling semi-realism recently. the struggle is real though.xD it's really hard for me to pick the right palettes and do facial definitions. one day at a time I guess.:)

it's been months since I worked on personal illustrations.xD
thank you! and yes, I use the air brush tool in Sai. then I also use the water tool on it. I like that tool cause you can blend the colors very subtly. those gradients are more substantial at first then using the water tool on it helps blend it and dial it down.:)

cool uniform, did you make the texture yourself? I tried a couple of ways to make camoflage print before but it didn't feel the same.

cool monster, are they wearing an ultratight suit as I'm wondering if the lines are textured skin or not. if so it might need a bit more render lines all over rather than just at edgees and boundaries as that can seem more like tight fabric, maybe.

love the shoes and hat on that sofa one, and the poncho thing is a slightly more realistic render than you normally do for clothing. is that a style shift, you trying out a new method?

and the last one, well looks good so far. I always default to a standard lighting position and level. well done for changing it up a bit :P
the shading on the neck is a bit off perhaps where it meets her right colarbone? also I think the bright highlights look great, but they seem to conflict with the shading of the rest of the body, perhaps more shade on her left or more highlights on her right, such as on the breasts/tummy/left leg, might work well. although you explained why you don't before, I think you would gain a bit more depth with stronger shades, especially in deep crevices, such as the underarm and cleavage.

hey! :)

for the print pattern on the uniform, yes, it was done manually. I just did some random freehand patterns then erase the edges and some parts in the middle. that's why you'll notice a lot of rather circular shapes on them.:)

the creature is all flesh.xD

and yes, tried out something different with her poncho. looked up a couple of references for the creases to make them look more natural. I guess that additional effort worked then. thank you! :)

and thank you for the feedback! I'm definitely struggling with the lighting on that one. I've already went over it like 4 times before I got to how it is now.xD gonna adjust it quite a lot more as I proceed. everything you said is definitely in my mind now. gonna try to give it more depth.:)

funny, thought I commented on the grass hill one but apparently not. I really like the detail you've put into all the grass, but also into the individual flowers of all the different types too.

the beach one has great back lighting, giving her a bit more 3D form than your normal style. also nice sand lighting on the legs, I assume that is.

the detail on the folds of the open shirt one is fantastic and nicely realistic :)

great lighting on the hair as well with the light sources and colour.

a little trick I do with photoshop is, after applying the normal base colors I just add an extra layer on top. fill it with the color of the atmosphere I want. for example here I wanted a blue tinge to the whole image, I used a blue-ish gray palette. then set it to multiply. here's the before and after.
(https://api-da.wixmp.com/_api/download/file?downloadToken=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQyNmUwIiwiaXNzIjoidXJuOmFwcDo3ZTBkMTg4OTgyMjY0MzczYTVmMGQ0MTVlYTBkMjZlMCIsImV4cCI6MTU0NDU0NDQ4OCwiaWF0IjoxNTQ0NTIyODc4LCJqdGkiOiI1YzBmOGM4OGJkY2Q2Iiwib2JqIjpudWxsLCJhdWQiOlsidXJuOnNlcnZpY2U6ZmlsZS5kb3dubG9hZCJdLCJwYXlsb2FkIjp7InBhdGgiOiJcL2ZcLzllOTdiYzZiLTI4YTAtNDQzOC05NzMyLTI0ZDc5MzgyODhlNFwvZGN1NjI4Zi00N2ExNmE1Ni1iMTY1LTRiNWItOWZmOC1hYjRiNmE4ZGEzZTcucG5nIn19.xYEmv5nNQXhmXu738vO3W2DdRJ3Mr8qV6Y4oOZpXg_k)
I normally apply it as the very top layer at first. so I can change the colors if it needs to be adjusted. maybe change from cool to warm and vise versa. the I merge it with each base color layer, still set to Multiply. so that it's not just a filter on the very top of the image. but most of the time I adjust some parts to match. like on this case when I added the Multiply layer the dark blue parts became too dark and saturated. so I adjusted its brightness and saturation. just to match the whole atmosphere.

it's a little hard to explain.xD feel free to ask any questions.:)
