This is not a board t opromote your site/Manga or ask artists to buy a stall in your exhibition. We have a separate board for everything.

01. Don't post any kind of links in Opening post : This board is not for promoting your things or referrals. Don't waste members time trying to send them to websites or offers. If you want an artists post your requirement and  first negotiate thing within your topic.

02. Don't POST Email Addresses and ask members to email you for more details. Members who want more details can ask in-topic and you can post details there. Later you can exchange emails when both parties are satisfied.

If we see the thread not sticking within these rules we will simply delete it, escpecially if you just came to post one topic and leave.

I agree with you: I decided to stop giving help for such projects since...
1 : I had made plenty of pics when the guy never made his part of deal and stopped his project.
2: one guy thought that "yes " meant slavery: he had send me 5 angry mails asking WHY  I wasn't yet on his forum...that had been build 5 min before LOL . He had thought he could use all my old art for his project without any authorization.

did you tell him to F off?

She told that in a more polite way. lol

This is something both Artists and  those who looking artists should be careful of.

Artists :

01. You have to be sure about that you have enough spare time to work on a such a project. Otherwise you are wasting both your and writers time.

02. Before accepting first find out about the writer and about the story. Also the fact that you can work together or not.

Also writers Should think about your experience and what you can offer to the artists before make demands.

You would be looking for someone who spend his/her time on your Manga for free. So better be nice. Don't push them. before putting a request one thing which might work for you is that comment on artists drawings in other sections and be around for a while.

Thats a good point. And even if you do start treating an artist/writer horribly at least have the balls to suck it up and apologize.

I put a link to my story, is that fine? Just so if someone wants to read it, they can click there instead of searching the forum.
Were going to party like it's 1986/ Blow in the cartridge and get ya' fix./

Posting the story in the forum putting a link to that topic is ok.

Don't worry, the link rule is for those who post here to promote their sites and just to put their url. If anyone look for a Artist or writer they should post their drawings/stories here so we know who's the person or what he can do.

We don't need a stranger response to your topic the taking the job and vanish after doing half. do we ? :)

Nop Don't wait till someone come to you. Start search for good Artist. Search in Facebook, Hi5 and other Manga sites and contact whom might be interested. don't worry if you don't get a reply. just keep trying. give them link to the story in forum and ask them if they like to do a colab. :)
