I noticed there was topic about this going so decided to tell you guys few things about MR Anthology. We do have 2 Anthologies. MR Anthology which full-blown comic anthology and MR writers Anthology which is for our writers here. Till that last of those we ve published Cory and I had to do most of the tasks. But we no longer have enough free time to do all these stuff. Also we doing all the stuff not gonna help anyone achieve the goals of publishing those 2 books.
Our goals is let our MR members to have hands on experience about create,format and publish a comic or story. If anyone want to reach this goal then you have to do 95% of it NOT cory or I. So, If we have any MangaRaiders Those Who dare do take this challenge and also who really , seriously want to have your work publish, post in this topic.
So I believe those who are real artists and writers , Those who can make it happen will come forward and take the challenge. Remember This will really let not just you but everyone else understand where you stand, you are a guy who really have a potential to be a writer or artist or you are just a big talker with no action.
This has nothing to do with your writing or drawing skills. It doesn't matter how good or bad are you at it. This is about finding out if you have will and strength to publish your own story/Manga. Also this is what those big publication companies looking for too. They want those artists and writers who are serious about what they do.
Long post and maybe little harsh but 100% truth and reality. So post here if you want to do it. Cory and I will give you all advice and instructions and also we have old members who have done it before. It's even fine if you don't have a story right now. We have months to do it. So lets make a summery,
- If you are in then post here you want to be in and Also description about the story you are willing to submit for this. Also mention which in Anthology you want to take part. Both or only one of these.
- This can be a your own or Collaboration. Plz post "I'm in" in yellow bold letters.
- Those who apply will need to create and format pages before submit. We will provide all necessary details
- If this works we will able to do publishing in March or April of 2013. So you will have plenty of time to even make story from scratch
- We will need a editorial board. Those who can work on this project not just their own story but in main tasks of project like helping members. proof reading etc.
- Both anthologies will be publish Digitally (free) and also in printed form
- This topic is just to see how many of here are willing to some serious a$$ kicking. xD So place your questions related to this here, if you have any
