I've been actively involved in the doujinshi (amateur manga publising) scene in the past, and now I'd like to publish something again. What about a digital (PDF) manga magazine?
It is a idea that I have since 2004 or so, to create a japanese like magazine but in digital (pdf format). I have desktop publishing profesional software licenses (indesign, photoshop, etc...). I also have the hosting and web development and some marketing skills... the only thing that I lack now is the artwork to publish and some staff.
Would you be interested in something like this?
These are the positions open:
-Manga creators (complete authors or teams that can provide a finished manga)
-Editorial Staff (some people to help me coordinate, promote, and manage the project)
-Proof readers and maybe... translators (yeah, this is international)
The idea is to create a magazine with aims to profesionalize over time.
Consider that these are not job offering, just volunteer work.
Also, don't deceive me. If you want to join the team this will suppose some work and compromise.
