I thought i would offer my 3D modelling services to the forum.

3D FOR FREE
Thats right, free :P

3D models can have a great use for artists in including in their manga as backgrounds, or use as items which are repeatedly drawn, such as a camera, laptop etc. one can trace over an image or use it directly in their drawing.

  What i can do:
-Buildings/Rooms
-Items/Props

  What i cannot do:
-people/faces
-organic shapes like plants

  What i will not do:
-Things that exist already (im not making a copy of the Eiffel tower or Sydney Opera House)
Because everyone needs to be more creative than that, and someone else has probably already done it :P

Since this is offering free commissions, i will try and take on all and any of your requests, but if i cannot do it for any reason then i will let you know. I should get anything done within 2 weeks, but no promises since it is free :P

You can use anything i make for your own personal use with or without credit, but not commercially unless individually approved (PM me).

if you can make normal requests here in the topic then other people can benefit from the things i make. i dont mind if you make a big request because i enjoy making it, and the practice does me good at the moment :P

how you can make a request:
-post a message in this topic with what you want!
-add as much information as you can, and let me know what i can change/add if i want to
-you can also post a picture/sketch/photo if you happen to have one for reference
-unless specified otherwise, i will not add textures or colours to the models

When the request is completed, i will post a link in the topic to the sketchup file (so you can get the angle you want for your drawing), and post a nice render of the request as well. In turn i would love to see how you used it in your art!

If you make multiple requests i may move some to a lower priority to be fair to users who have requested one thing, and based on how i feel :P

-a cafe looks like a great idea!
-a street view can be hard (time intensive) because you need to design a lot of shops and stuff (basically the whole street), but based on the reference i will give it a go
-a roof top might be interesting as well, but a similar problem to street view with detail. Will give it a shot though

thanks for the reference pictures that really helps, do you have any specific requests regarding style, or shall i match the reference closely?
(the two street pictures are completely different)

As for the street view, you can go all out on it free-style or follow closely if you like, just have fun with it.
I'm just interested to see what it will turn out like and also want to challenge you a little. I of course will most likely attempt to use it as well since I'm always in need of exterior backgrounds. xD

You are quite welcome with the reference material (they were just there to give examples). For regarding style, I say go with whatever you think will be best for someone to use in a manga.

Razikitsune - The cafe corner has been made. It ended up a little simpler than i wanted, but i hope you like it!

 OH WOW! That came out better then my inner mind even designed it. Not meaning that negativity, you just went full 180 while I was back at 80.    It came out amazing and I can't wait to see what I may be able to do with it! Thank you for taking on my request~

UPDATE: razikitsune - after 2 attempts, i managed to get a street view that looked kinda ok. i went for the style of the first reference you gave me.
