you can get skype from any app store or on their website

most laptops, tablets and phones have built in mics - Whitecrow used his phone to skype with us

so if you want to join in it's not too difficult... we are pretty low tech...

It's getting on Youtube regardless! just a little slow on that front...

I'd imagine an episode of artists wouldn't be as fun as listening to writers solely on artists are 99% visual and 1% pen/brush sounds. XD

Haha yes well, if we just recorded audio of artists drawing then probably... We are still spitballing ideas on that front, but we think having artists on to talk about their processes, how they learned, their favourite styles etc could be a good place to start.

Pretty hectic second episode. The first one was just Vacant and NO1SEY and Coryn occasionally chiming in. Now you got four different voices with different quality mics. And whatever the internet was doing to Lego's voice. And I think there was some latency with his Skype as well, which made it sound like he was interrupting everybody. What I heard was pretty fun/funny. But it was hard sometimes paying attention to what was being said, because the sound of everyone talking was a bit disorienting.

It gets easier to listen to as time goes on, though, and I can get the rhythm of things. Those first 10-20 minutes tho...

Unfortunately this is just what happens when you record a chat between 4 or so people... Moreover, the recording software records Vacant in real-time and then because of skype and stuff gives everyone else a slight delay, which can get worse depending on how Vacant's laptop is feeling, so sometimes it sounds like we are talking over one another when we really aren't. We can't fix that at the moment though, because the software records the skype call as one audio file, so Vacant can't reallign different people or alter individual volumes... he does a great job audio editing what we get though. I listen to them all once over though and I don't think that there has been a big problem with any of them so far.

Hmm. I might say throw a tiny bit of reverb, if possible, on the file, which would make it less disorienting when people are talknig over each other, but it definitely would lose that radio show sound and would probably sound pretty weird.
