Somewhy your drawing looks more real than the photo....  atleast to me
I don't create stories, I relive them ;)

You've got quite a realistic style there! I think you should try looking a bit on facial proportions some time, cause I can see that some places are a bit wrong, like the lips are quite big, but maybe that's your style! But it looks good, so keep practicing! :D

Thanks for the comment;

I can draw realistically using ideal proportions, but most of the things i do have been done on purpose to exaggerate features that i want exaggerated. I agree it looks terrible on the pink hair girl though, i messed up. Her actual face is split into thirds, but i pushed the hair too much and it looks off as a result. I do eyeball my props so they're not always exact; Here's the initial face sketch part. After that i started painting and winged it. http://i.imgur.com/DBmMIjx.png

Spoilers though, I will be posting realism here soon, as im going to be learning to shade/draw with charcoal! :)  :heart:

Very nice work Jamie! There is great improvement I've seen in your work!

Any plans to do bodies for either of those? Or do you think you'll just stick to the heads?

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

Thanks Coryn! I'm pretty lazy with sketches like that. I do full bodies sometimes too. Here's 2 small and oldish examples because im on my laptop and too lazy to go to desktop.  http://i.imgur.com/eJoHbck.png

Didn't achieve much today;

Nose study; http://i.imgur.com/leqXfRy.png
Now with fun colours; http://i.imgur.com/nc8xkrQ.png
Values/colour practice, because i suck at using photoshop to shade/colour work. http://i.imgur.com/nfjpRLV.png

Abandoned sketch that made me realise i need to learn how to actually use photoshop to shade. http://i.imgur.com/zttmL87.png

Were you using some kind of hair brush in Photoshop?  Kind of seems like it because it looks fuzzy on the outside

For the abandoned sketch it was an experimental brush i was playing with. For everything else it was a chalk brush.

The first nose looks pretty good but the second one seems a bit strange with the green color in it
