ACTION:
As he is running, Solus notices Hon in the distance. The man is down on the ground covered in blood.
Seeing them, he stops and makes a panicked expression. He is far enough to not be noticed by Hon.
DIALOGUE:
Solus (thinking): What happened here? Why is that guy dead? Did he tell Hon about me?
ACTION:
Solus calms down a little.
DIALOGUE:
Solus (thinking): If Hon knows, then he is the one I have to kill.
FLASHBACK:
Solus remembers how Hon defeated Ilarion.
END OF FLASHBACK
ACTION:
He makes a panicked expression again.
DIALOGUE:
Solus (thinking): *censored*! There’s no way I can kill him. What should I do?
ACTION:
Solus takes another look at Hon
DIALOGUE:
Solus (surprised): Is he angry? I’ve never seen him angry before.
ACTION:
Solus calms down and starts walking towards Hon.
DIALOGUE:
Solus (thinking): I should ask him about that first and then see what happens.
ACTION:
Solus walks up to Hon. Hon notices him approaching.
DIALOGUE:
Solus: What happened here? Why are you so angry?
Hon (angry): He was one of my disciples and just now I found out that he betrayed us.
Solus (thinking): Good! He’s not angry because of me. Maybe he didn’t find out about me.
Solus: So that’s why you killed him?
Hon: Yes.
Solus (thinking): I need to find out if he said anything about me.
Solus: Did he say anything before you killed him?
ACTION:
Hon changes his expression to a calmer one.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: You shouldn’t worry about that.
ACTION:
Hon starts walking away.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Well, I’m going home for now.
ACTION:
Hon stops for a moment.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Be careful on your way home. One of those traitors might attack you as well.
ACTION:
Solus turns around and starts walking.
DIALOGUE:
Solus (thinking): I better report this to Adal.
SCENE:
In Adal’s room. Adal is sitting by the desk. Solus is standing in front of him.
DIALOGUE:
Adal: Are you sure no one else saw you?
Solus: Yes.
Adal: Di Hon find out about it?
Solus: When I asked him if that guy said anything, he said that I shouldn’t worry about it.
Adal: There’s no way he didn’t say anything about it.
Solus: I know. I just didn’t want to become suspicious, so I decided not to ask anything else.
Adal: Good decision. I’ll invite him to lunch tomorrow and see what he knows.
SCENE:
In the main dining room in Adal’s mansion. It’s much more spacious compared to the one where Solus is usually eating and looks more luxurious. Adal, Solus and Hon are eating by the table. There is no one else in the room.
ACTION:
Adal finishes eating and wipes his mouth.
He walks to the doors and checks outside.
DIALOGUE:
Adal: Seems like everyone left like I wanted. Now we can discuss about important things.
Hon (smiles): And what do you want to discuss about?
Adal: You know exactly what I want to discuss about.
Hon: I do. You want to talk about what happened last night. Are you sure that no one is listening?
Adal: Yes.
Hon: Then we can talk about Solus as well, not just your soldiers dying.
ACTION:
Hearing Hon’s words Solus stands up abruptly.
DIALOGUE:
Solus: What!? Who died!?
Adal: It was Renos and few other guys. They were killed in the streets.
Solus: Was it by another traitor?
Hon: It was done by Avner. He is the guard for one of the nobles. He claims that they attacked his master and that he was just defending him.
Solus (angry): And what happened with him?
Hon: Nothing since his master vouched for him.
Solus (angry): That’s no reason to kill one of your own. He must be a traitor.
Adal: Unfortunately he most likely isn’t one.
Solus (angry): Then why did he kill them?
Adal: The reason is most likely the same as the reason why this war is happening.
Hon (interested): And why is that.
Adal: Both Mael and Avner were in the same unit as me. They were very promising soldiers, but they were overshadowed by me in last war.
Hon: So they are just jelaous?
Adal: Yes.
ACTION:
Solus slams his fist onto the table.
DIALOGUE:
Solus (angry): Jealous?! Are you saying that people are dying because they are jealous?
Adal: Unfortunately, yes.
Solus (angry): How can you let this continue?
Adal: Don’t worry. Everything will be solved when the time comes. Now please calm down and sit down.
ACTION:
Solus sits down but is still angry.
DIALOGUE:
Adal: Now, we should return to more important topic.
Hon (smiles): So you want to talk about Solus being immortal?
Adal: So he did tell you after all.
Hon: Yeah, although I knew before that he was immortal.
ACTION:
Adal gets shocked by what Hon said.
DIALOGUE:
Adal (shocked): What?! When did you find out? Does someone else know?
Hon (laughing): To think this would shock you so much.
ACTION:
Hon makes a bit more serious expression.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Don’t worry. I doubt anyone else know about it.
ACTION:
Adal calms down.
DIALOGUE:
Adal: When did you find out?
Hon: I knew he was immortal the moment you walked in with him to the king 2 years ago.
Adal: How?
Hon: I recognized him.
Adal (confused): Recognized?
Hon: What’s so weird about recognizing him?
Adal: You could have only seen him before I bought him and he looked completely different than when you met him later. There’s no way you could have recognized him.
Hon: It’s true that he looked completely different, but his eyes were the same.
Adal: Most people forgot that he even existed, and you are telling me that you recognized him only by his eyes.
ACTION:
Adal pauses and makes a confused face again.
DIALOGUE:
Adal: Are you in love with him or something?
ACTION:
Hearing Adal say that, Solus jumps back and makes a scared face.
DIALOGUE:
Solus (stuttering): I-I-I have s-s-someone else, just so you know.
ACTION:
Hon starts laughing vigorously to his reaction.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Don’t worry. I have no such feelings towards other people.
ACTION:
Solus sits down again.
DIALOGUE:
Adal: Then why did you remember his eyes?
Hon: It was 20 years ago during my training days.
FLASHBACK:
Hon talks about his training when he was younger. Even then he was very big. He is wearing normal shirt and pants. He is holding broadsword in his hand. All of the dialogue is Hon from the present explaining.
SCENE:
Hon is facing towards other trainees. They are all scared.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Even back then I was very big and strong. Everyone was afraid to fight me.
SCENE:
Hon is sparring with a guy who is a bit smaller than him. That guy is lying on the floor. Hon is standing in front of him and looks bored.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: No one dared to fight back, so I was very bored.
SCENE:
Hon is standing on the training grounds. Opposing him is Solus, who is nothing but skin and bones and is very dirty. His expression is full of hate.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: All of that changed on the day when we were supposed to train on the immortal. He could barely stand with his weak legs but he still gazed at me full of hate.
SCENE:
Hon cuts up Solus in half.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Even though he was so weak…
SCENE:
Solus continues to stand and looks at Hon hatefully.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: …he wanted to fight back. Unfortunately, he was too weak to do anything.
END OF FLASHBACK
DIALOGUE:
Hon: From that moment on, I remembered his eyes because he was the only one who showed me the look of the person that wants to fight back.
ACTION:
Hon clenches his fist.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: I just wished that a day would come when I could fight him when he is at hi full power. And now it seems like my wish could come true.
Adal: So you just want to fight him, that’s all?
Hon: Yeah. What’s wrong with that?
ACTION:
Adal starts laughing.
DIALOGUE:
Adal: You truly are a battle freak. To think that I was worried about you knowing his secret.
Solus: Yeah. I completely forgot about you, yet you remember me so clearly.
Hon: You can be sure that I will keep your secret until I fight him.
Adal: You will have to wait until this war ends for that.
Hon: If he doesn’t win this war for us, then he isn’t worth fighting yet.
Solus: Then I’ll get stronger to win it and then pay you back for what you did to me back then.
ACTION:
Hon drinks out of his cup.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Now that we have that cleared out, I have a question for you Adal.
Adal: Ask whatever you want.
Hon: Why did you decide to use immortal in this war?
Adal: Do you remember why they are hated so much?
Hon: Yeah. It’s because of First immortal.
Solus: First immortal?
FLASHBACK:
A few scenes about what happened with First immortal. Hon is again talking about it from present.
SCENE:
First immortal is sitting on his throne. He is as big as Hon.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: He was the guy who thanks to his immortality raised to top. He created Bynor Empire thanks to that.
SCENE:
First immortal is standing on the mountain of corpses.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Soon after he started to act like a tyrant and killed anyone who opposed him.
SCENE:
First immortal is fighting a big army.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: After some time, whole army was raised just to fight him. But, they couldn’t kill him no matter what.
SCENE:
First immortal is surrounded by soldiers. All of his limbs are chained.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: After a long fight they managed to tear off his limbs and seal his body parts.
END OF FLASHBACK
DIALOGUE:
Hon: Since people were afraid that another one like him would appear, they started to treat you like that.
ACTION:
Solus gets angry.
DIALOGUE:
Solus: So we were suffering just because of one guy?
Adal: Exactly. And I thought if one immortal was enough to make everyone hate them, then one immortal could also make everyone stop hating them.
Solus: Do you think that someone can change the situation we’re in?
Adal: Yes, and that’s why I decided to give you a chance to do so.
Hon (interested): So you have some big plans for this guy.
ACTION:
Hon walks up to Solus.
DIALOGUE:
Hon: If you manage to beat me, you will definitely have the strength to change something. What do you say?
ACTION:
Solus clenches his fist and makes a determined expression.
DIALOGUE:
Solus: I’m definitely getting stronger then. Just wait! I’m going to beat you soon.
